Things have reached a critical point in the Middle East. Everyone knows how unhealthy he was, but Fortune thinks there’s more to his death than a poorly timed prank that caused his bad heart to give out.

Love Miss Fortune series!
This was two stories in one book. I am always so happy when a new Miss Fortune book is available. And Cassandra Campbell is a wonderful narrator. I love the characters and can’t wait for the next book.

absolutely loved this book, right from the beginning we had Gertie, well, Gertie! The story is very compelling with the crime involved and was a Teaser for the unresolved ending of where they go next with Carters rescue. Looking forward to the next!! Jana is such an outstanding writer

excellent ploys, fascinating, interesting characters .
Absolutely appreciate the story plots and the characters are fun and fascinating. The Gerty flukes are hilarious and remind me of hogh-end Keystone cop routines, making me laugh and, st the same time in awe oof how tgey get out of scrapes. Jana DeLeon is one of the authors I will follow. no matter what she writes as dhe os an astounding creator of fun, mystery and fresh approach to writing tales. Thank you, Jana!
