Audible: Morae Brehon, Leon Nixon: The narrator’s voices meshed well together. Marie Brehon’s voice matched what you believe Claudette to sound like. She had that deep raspy voice down packed. Leon Nixon also brought a slow draw to Dominic. It’s what you expect from his cool and calm demeanor. Both narrators brought the characters to life.

Dominic DeBlanc: If, “the weight of the world on your shoulders,” was a person it would be Dominic. He had to grow up at a very young age. Often having to be the parent to his mother and feeling like he needed to be a parental figure to cousin while still supporting his aunt. He found himself struggling between two worlds.

Claudette Ardell: If, “a ray of sunshine,” was a person it would be Claudette. She was stronger than she knew and wasn’t afraid to hustle. Her intelligence and passion quickly won over everyone she met.

This was an unconventional love story. It was not always a field of sunflowers. It was gritty and the characters had to grind. This story shows the importance of having someone in your corner who can watch your back. While they came from two different backgrounds, they could understand each other’s pain in a way that those around them couldn’t. Their friendship was something that both these characters truly needed. If you like your romance dirty, complicated, and with a dash of hood this is a must read for you.

Enjoying storyline. Good narration, voice of female narrator good but does not match what I would expect.

This was my first time listening to this author and she did not disappoint. I love a troubled romance and this delivered! I can't wait until the next release!

Excellent

Omg…Saving Sunflower and The End Game are both filled with so much emotion. In my opinion those two are must reads.

Not what I expected, but in a good way

This story pulled at my heart strings. Nic had a good heart, but really he had no business with Clo. Two broken people, really kids. Thankful Clo had enough sense to hustle smarter.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and writing.
