Lots of fun

Wasn't sure about this series when I started it with book 1. It started a little slow and I wasn't very invested in the beginning. But man by the end of the first book it was really hitting its stride. Which made me excited to read book 2. Fortunately, unlike some these are coming out quickly. The first book released last month and now this one and it looks like the next will be released in a month. The second book really kept the momentum the second half of the first book had and snowballed it. More characters and interesting things about the world. All of that wrapped up in a package of two of my favorite narrators. Rebecca Woods is probably tied for my #1 favorite narrator. But Daniel is no slouch either.

exceptional

a great squall to book 1. solid progression in both story and character. a good mix of talent skills merchantileism and luck the mc struggles fights loves and falls into enough situations to make the 2nd volume of this series extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend this series for isekai / cultivation enthusiasts

it's a great second act

Loved this book as a second and loved the entire series not for children though. the story telling is marvelous and the build up is wonderful.
