Jordan and Urich now hunt the man who murdered Jordan’ s daughter!

A serial killer calling himself the gingerbread man targets teenage prostitutes in Memphis. to facilitate their investigation, Memphis police keep details of his killings from the public and deny he exists. Frustrated by this lack of notoriety, the killer stalks investigators in the case and expands his killing ground to Tunica.

While on special assignment to Tunica County, Jordan and Urich stumble on a murder that mirrors Jordan’s daughter’s killing, three years before. Removed from his daughter’s murder case then as it involved a family member. Now, as the murder occurred in a neighboring county, he is again warned off the case. Estranged from Charmain, his daughter’s death now returns to haunt him. These forces shove him down the path that nearly wrecked his life before.

At the same time, Charmain, hoping to help Jordan find closure, launches an investigation into Jordan’s daughter’s murder. While meeting with the lead Memphis detective, pressuring him to keep the case alive, she comes to the attention of the killer. After contacting her, the killer offers to become her muse. He shares grisly details of his killings with her drawing her into the investigation’s vortex.

Will Jordan right his personal life and find a way to get involved in the case? Can he nail this killer and protect Charmain from this obsessed maniac?
