What if your entire life had been a lie?

When Rowan Thomas was dragged into 14th century Scotland, she knew her old life was gone. But the more she learns of her druid nature, the more she questions what she knew - about her sister, herself, and her all-consuming attraction to Taran Skaraven.

The Skaraven Horse Master has always been a man of few words. He sees to the care and well-being of the clan’s mounts, sensing their needs before they do. But his link with Rowan goes beyond anything he’s ever known. Since their first moment together, they have connected so fiercely that he begins to question his judgment and their uncontrollable need to be together.

As the mad druids and their new accomplice lay final plans for the clan’s end, Taran comes to a stunning realization while Rowan forms a dangerous alliance of her own.

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author and found it very entertaining. A great ending to the series about druids, immortals and time travel. Rowan is not an easy person to like, but she's useful in her way. Taran, the horsemaster, doesn't want her around but fate has other plans for them and an enemy for them to banish. All the characters of this series have been unique and interesting and complimented each other. This series ends with lots of action and in the process answers all the questions. It's a great series from start to finish.

...conflicted, poignant and filled with chemistry!

Taran and Rowan have a story filled with secrets, tension, angst, and romance. Rowan's story reveals more aspects of her personality filling in the softer angels of her prickly disposition. Taran's interactions with Rowan are conflicted, poignant and filled with chemistry. I enjoyed every minute of their story as it unfolded, enhanced by the smooth narration. I recommend reading the series in order for optimal enjoyment. The Skaraven series has come to an exciting action filled conclusion. I look forward to more from Hazel Hunter.

The've met before. They just don't know it!

A trip back in time with 4 other women. She's the last one who is mortal. He's the Skaraven's horse master and wants her to stay with him. They both have secrets. When the decision is made to send her back to her own time things must change. Will she find love with the horse master and will she be accepted by the clan? Can he over come his fear and reveal his secret and help save his clan from evil? Or will they be separated for all time?

Hazel Hunter brings her Skaraven series to a satisfying close with this fifth book in the series. I kept wondering what the secrets were of the two main characters and how they'd overcome their differences to true love. Taran kept my emotions in a turmoil. I was sorry to have the series end but am glad that the Immortal Highlanders will keep going and look forward to finding a new clan and their enemy to capture my attention along with the women who travel back in time because of their ancestry. I can't get enough. Thank you for the Immortal Highlander series.

Taran - This is a great book.

I really love this series and so sad that it is the end but it definitely end well.
Taran was the last one to find his soul mate but he was also hiding something. He was using his power to manipulate Rowan and how she really felt about him. He made sure that Rowan felt like he didn't like her as he didn't want his brother's to find out the truth about him.
Rowan never really got a long with everyone so she just tried to stay out of the way. She was also hiding something from the group and she was going to tell Brenian she heard everyone talking about her is she was upset about and never to Brenian about what she was doing.
When Taran and Rowan went missing things got interesting. Did Rowan really not like Taran or was she trying to keep him safe?
This was such a great book and the narrator did such a great job reading it.

Taran

Wow…..Taran is a coward. This book is sort of a must read because it resolves the end of the human crisis but you can skip Taran and Rowen.
