A vampire’s thirst: dark, dangerous, and undeniable!

Lost in a foreign city, ancient vampire Flint finds himself facing the toughest battle of his life. What was supposed to be a vacation has turned into a battle to save a young Scottish lass in danger as well as his own sanity when he’s struck with a mysterious thirst. One that he’s finding hard to control and he’s terrified that if he slips down that route he may never return.

With a horde on his tail and the beautiful and injured Kenzie McBride in his arms, he’s struck with the revelation of who and what she is: the most elusive and precious of things in the whole damn universe: a vampire’s Bloodmate. His Bloodmate. And he’ll fight to the death to keep her safe from anyone who comes after her. Anyone.

The hunt is on, the battle fierce. Only the strong survive a vampire’s thirst!

Find out if Flint can save Kenzie from those hunting her, and himself from the thirst in this thrilling installment of A K Michaels’ A Vampire’s Thirst series that audiences are calling magical, heart-pounding, and enthralling.

Flint is Fierce!

When reading the series, Flint quickly became my favorite vampire in the very first book. So hearing his story come to life when read by Jason Hill just made my day. Packing all the emotion of the story into his voice of the different characters and even speed up and slowing down at times really made an impact when listening. The story is set mainly in Scotland so there are plenty of delicious accents to delight your ears. Flints drawl isn't as noticeable in this story compared to the first one, but when you consider that most of the other characters are Scottish, it's clear that he's an American.
Flint first starts to suffer the Thirst when stateside and the symptoms escalate when he's forced to take a vacation in Scotland and stay at the estate of one of his boss Victor's associates, the enigmatic Quinn Alexander. His only solace occurs when he sets his gaze upon Edinburgh Castle. Kenzie, a Scottish faery, has put her life on hold and retreated to her grandmother's following her parents deaths. When her dreams tell her to go to Edinburgh, she goes and finds herself in trouble. Flint rescues her with some help and unwittingly sets in motion an epic battle. You get to see a bit of his dark side in this story and find out how far a vampire will go to protect his Bloodmate. The story starts off hot, then you get the action, some more hotness, and closes with some sweetness. I can't wait to listen to Quinn's story!
