Amazing

Absolutely incredible

There are just not enough words to explain how good this book is. With the author's usual magic with words, we have a whole new world that is filled with the paranormal, the sarcasm that adds so much humor you will laugh out load, surprises around the corners, and heat so spicy, you'll need a cold shower. And there are adorable animals!!!

The narrator has yet again brought characters to life audibly in such a way you expect to turn the book off and have them sitting next to you.

Slow burn

Part procedural, part paranormal, part romance; it read like a roller coaster - a slow climb to begin, then a wild ride to the end. I look forward to the next one!

It got me hooked.

I was unsure in the beginning, but found myself wanting to know more…so I kept going. The further I got, the more I was hooked. There were a few things that didn’t make sense to me with the development of the main characters…but overall I liked the story. I feel it ended a bit abruptly, lots of loose ends…but thankfully the next book is available, and I’m guessing my questions will be answered in it. Great narration.

I liked this story, it kept me entertained! Sometimes tho, I was frustrated with Seb cuz I thought he was too hard on Ailin, who only wanted to help, support and love Seb. But needless to say, I loved them both and it was fun to see Seb and his magic grow. This book gives background and sets up series for the sequels. This book was good but books 2 & 3 are super good so I definitely recommend so that a reader/listener can continue with the series!!! Kenneth narrates this very well!!
