Publisher's Summary

Many fall as the last enchanter rises....

The first line of the ancient prophecy keeps playing over and over in my head, but I’m afraid to remember the rest. I don’t want to think about what’s coming for us - what’s coming for him. I’ve been keeping Brinnswick safe for years; I’ve been keeping my coven safe my whole life; and now, I was responsible for keeping Sebastian safe, too. It shouldn’t have been a problem, he was my vitmea viramore, after all, and I was used to having the weight of the world on my shoulders.

What Seb doesn’t know is that everyone in the magical community is after him - even if they don’t realize it yet. They’ve been looking for him for centuries; not only for him, but for his soul. But they never counted on him having me. I will protect him with my every breath and take down anyone that gets in our way. His soul belongs with me, not in the arms of evil.

The Enchanter’s Soul is the second book in the Ellwood Chronicles and is a continuation of Sebastian and Ailin’s story. It contains explicit material and is intended for mature adults 18 years of age and older.

A Great Series Continues

I love this MM fantasy series. As this continues the overall story arc, I recommend listening/reading book 1 first. I am so happy to get more of Seb & Ailin! Book 2 really ramps up the action and suspense as Seb grows into his powers. We also get to watch as Seb and Ailin's relationship deepens. And the secondary characters, especially Emrys, get a larger role which I really enjoyed. As in book 1, there is a satisfying investigation to unravel which fits into the overall series arc.

Kenneth Obi does a great job narrating this book. The characters are always recognizable, even with this larger cast. Kenneth did especially well at amping up the tension during the fight scenes. His narration at the final climatic scene made it more suspenseful. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book!

This is book 2 of Sebastian and Ailin's continuing journey. Michele Notaro writes with so much emotion. If you love paranormal romance books this series is a must and Kenneth Obi's narration is absolutely amazing. These books need to be listened to in order and I can't wait for more.

Amazing, simply amazing

This is a book with so many emotions. I love the way that Kenneth makes you feel the heartbreak when Sebastian is kidnapped and then the joy when Ailin finds he is still alive, barely but alive. This series is quickly becoming a favorite and I can't wait for the rest of them

Amazing Story!

This is such a great book. I have it on kindle and Audible now.

The performace of Kenneth Obi was good, however, you can tell when he recorded then stopped and added on due to inflections in his voice changing which did make it seem less smooth. However, overall great job with accents and voice work!

The Enchanters Soul

This is the second book in the Elwood chronicles things are starting to come too past as the prophecy start to reveal it's self . But I have a theory I think that there was someone who instigated the war on the enchanted because they knew that they couldn't beat them . So they got the witches to do their dirty work for them and because the witches where already jealous of the enchanted power anyway it didn't take much anyway waiting for the next book in this series .

Just when I fall in love with the first story i get another one that i just can't help but love even more. I absolutely love this series right now. I love Seb and Ailin together. Then all the other characters in this one. I could help but keep on listening. Kenneth Obi is just fabulous in his narration. He makes me love these characters and story even more. I get pulled in and I don't want to be let go.

Great next chapter

So far, The Ellwood Chronicles is a fantastic series, and this is a great second chapter; it's just as strong as the first. We continue bumbling along with Sebastian as he comes to terms with his new situation in life and experiences growing pains in his new relationship with Ailin. We also have Ailin's point of view this time, so I felt there was a fuller understanding of events.

I was not as happy with the narrator's performance this time. He overall did a good job, but I didn't feel like he really brought out the emotion of the really intense parts of the book.

Still a very enjoyable experience and I definitely recommend.

The adventure continues and I loved it!!

This story is just as awesome as the first book and continues on with Ailin and Sebastian and them coming to terms with Seb's enchanter powers and their fated connection. It is a thrilling journey, full of new intrigue, mystery, and magic. We see all the favorite characters and get a better insight into their magical world and some weird things that have been happening since their battle with the demon. We are introduced (along with Seb) to some interesting creatures and Seb's reactions are classic!

The story leads to a new battle where all is almost lost. I was on the edge of my seat! I loved the development of Seb and Ailin's connection and the struggles they faced, while magic related, seemed relatable to a 'normal' relationship. I loved the reveal of the bond creatures and the world Michele has created has grown exponentially.

Wonderful work by Michelle and add in Kenneth’s narration and is just fantastic!! Kenneth elevated this book to the next level and with his compelling narration and different dialects and tones for each character is just adds to the mystery and mayhem!! I loved it!!!! I can't wait to see what happens next as again, Michele left us with a taste of what's to come!! Loving this world and Ailin and Seb are some of my all-time favorite characters!! Another 5-star read for me!!!

Thanks for reading!

Amazing! There’s no other word for it.

I adored The Enchanter’s Soul! I had high expectations after The Enchanter’s Flame and it surpassed even my high expectations.

I loved the twist that most of the POV was Ailin’s with only a few from Sebastian. The story, just like in book 1, was gripping and thrilling. Michele Notaro has a true talent for storytelling that had me eager to read more. The story seamlessly continues and grows from that in book one, and gets better as we learn more of the world.

I was left at the end of the book wanting more - both of Seb and A, and of several other characters in the book (that I’m hoping get their own stories!). A truly amazing book that will resonate within me forever and leave me anxious to re-experience to be taken back into the world again.

Kenneth Obi has a special talent in narrating and every time I listen to a book narrates by him I am surprised again at how he can do such distinct and varying characters that seems to hit spot on with how I imagined the characters when reading the book (like no other narrator seems to do). I can’t wait for more of this series!

Another amazing chapter in this story

I love that this is a long story line (currently over 2 books). Really enjoying how the story is evolving. Really great world building! Ailin and Seb are such great characters - and we get more development of this in book 2. . And I am so loving the other characters (Basil, Emyrs etc).
Kenneth Obi's narration is amazing as always. I love listening to his reading of the story. All his voice characterisations are spot on. It has kept me absorbed for the full 9 hrs + . I cannot wait for the next instalment!

as great as the ebook

The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Kenneth Obi is one of the 3 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Outstanding

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I think this one may actually be better! The world is really fleshing out and I love the relationship between Alin and Sebastian. Sebastian's trust issues resonate with me, especially about being lied to by omission. I'm glad to see Emris again and it appears he will have a big role in a future book. I also like Kenneth Obi's narration, he is becoming a favourite of mine. My one slight complaint is that Alin is given a very deep voice whilst Sebastian's is lighter. This doesn't mesh with the idea that not only is Sebastian taller but has served in the army, he sounds like he is very young. But the book is highly absorbing and entertaining and I am eagerly awaiting the next instalment
