Mediocre.

Reader sounds too much like Sookie Stackhouse. This is a dumber down storyline. Heavy handed, takes forever to unfold.
Molly Harper writes a better series, with a town full of mystical beings. This verges on trash.....suffering thru!

Loved it.

It took a minute to get used to the slow drawl of the narrator but once I did I couldn’t imagine any other way to do this story. I love the love this family has for each other.

Cute

I think being from South Carolina the accents just did not do it for me. The story was cute & witchy. I enjoyed the mystery!

Friendship and Family

I loved the friendship and family bonds in this book. Can’t wait hear more of this series.

Moonshine & Magic, written by Bella Falls and narrated by Johanna Parker, is the initial installment in Ms. Falls' Southern Charm Cozy Mystery Collection. This is a light-hearted, fun, witty, murder mystery that will keep you both riveted to your seat and laughing out loud. The characters are well done, giving this storyline a well-rounded aspect. The mystery was good, containing enough unknowns to keep my interest. I am definitely going to be spending some more time with this series to see how it goes!
