With Charleston's council poised to take over Honeysuckle Hollow, the town and all of its people must band together to prove they don't need to be absorbed into the big city magical district. What better way to show off the small supernatural Southern town than to host a barbecue contest and some classic broom racing?



To keep their town safe, it's imperative that nothing go wrong. But when one of Honeysuckle's most important residents is attacked, leaving him on the brink of death, it's up to Charli Goodwin to convince the two men pursuing her to work together to catch the culprit and save a life.

I really love the storyline and characters. Not knowing what’s happening next. Can’t wait for the next book.

this has been another good listen in this series it may not be the most thrilling or epic adventure, but I would recommend reading again

Fun and sass

Great fun. The characters draw you in and the story revolves around their interactions. The mystery is there but definitely not the main draw.

Great cozy mystery

Great cozy mystery. Both the author and the narrator kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

One of my favorite episodes so far!

Barbecue and Brooms, written by Bella Falls and narrated by Johanna Parker, is both a light and dark rollercoaster ride that may very well spell the end of Honeysuckle Hollow. I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through; my head spinning from all of the twists and turns in this episode. I love how Charli manages to stay strong (at least on the outside) despite everything she goes through. The whole town definitely needs to pull together to come out on top in this one. Overall, it's a great story and one of my favorites so far!
