The Shadow Crusade has begun. While the Ultramarines reel from Kor Phaeron's surprise attack on Calth, Lorgar and the rest of the Word Bearers strike deep into the realm of Ultramar.

Their unlikely allies, Angron and the World Eaters, continue to ravage each new system they come across - upon the garrison planet of Armatura, this relentless savagery may finally prove to be their undoing. Worlds will burn, Legions will clash and a primarch will fall.

having no real like for Angron before, I have to say this was very good at building the character. I think Angron is the first I really feel bad for. The others made their choices, had their reasons, but Angron is the only one who went into this without disobeying from the start. without spoiling it, Angron, I feel fo him at least

poor Angron

The writing, voice acting, character development, its amazing. As a world eaters fan this is easily my favorite 40k book.

ADB cooked once again. This book really felt like a hard turning point of the beginning of the corruption and the end of the legions (besides Calth). Jonathan Keeble once again shows why he is the best narrator for the 40k verse by bringing everyone to life so perfectly. Definitely one of my favorite books of the Heresy series.
