I will be back for sure for book 3. this is one of the best series that is getting off the ground.

Great book.

Great book can't wait to get the next one. I like how it picked up right where the first one ended. Good characters and storyline. I was wanted to know what had happened to Henry and A, bad. ...

Enjoyed this tremendously

I actually ended up enjoying this book more than the first. The character development was better in my opinion. I am interested in learning what happens next. I could do without some of the PC parts but they didn't distract overall.

Worth Reading

I've read the first three books in the series so far. I thought this was the weakest of the three, but still well worth reading if for no other reason that it builds you up for the third book which is the best. Jeff Hays did a great job on the Narration again. Some interesting new characters introduced. If you liked the first book this is more of the same.

loved the book

the two books so far are very enjoyable and help pass the time, I actually stopped a couple of hours away from the end because I didn't want the book to end. I highly recommend this book too anyone

Slow moving, slightly too SJW for me, but not bad

I can kind of understand the idea to explore LGTBQ topics in the narrative considering the topic of harem style marriage practices are discussed. That being said, it took a large chunk of the narrative to introduce a very over the top character. Normally readers might overlook time spent on character indulgences like this, but as it wasn't your typical archetype it didn't provide the fan service most would likely enjoy.

All of that being said I don't think the author or the series is terrible as a result (far from it), and the hate given in some reviews is a bit much.

Not complete

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the book and liked the characters a lot more in this one (the first book had too much self deprecation and loathing). The story was interesting and makes you want to continue.

But, it does not feel like a complete book and more like a small stepping stone.

It seemed to end abruptly

This is a great book same as the first full of memes, action, adventure, and D&D references. The world building and sense of mystery was still there but a little less than the first book. My only qualm with the book was that is was just too short, it didn't seem like that much happened. Maybe it was the authors intention to keep me wanting more, but the length just didn't seem to live up to my expectation. Great book overall though, keep them coming!
