I absolutely love these stories. BDSM stories with an actual mystery type story line.

Wow! What a story.

On Her Masters Secret Service is the 4th book in LB series Masters and Mercenaries and it can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend this series.

I wonder how many more times I can be surprised by LB. We continue to have sexy, dominant alphas who happen to be undercover in various ops. Each book is a slightly different storyline but all with in the same world. Secret agents, spy’s, rouge CIA agents, action packed angst, covert operations with men who are undercover for a security company (McKay- Taggert) trying to prevent the underworld from taking over.

Alex and Eve’s story is so charged. It will break your heart for their past. Once married, now divorced but still madly in love with each other. The past has kept them apart. Her trauma, his quest to save her, protect her and get back at the ones who hurt her.

What a roller coaster ride. The tension, the sass, the banter and BDSM elements will have you turning the pages so fast.
Narrated by Ryan West, this book is in 3POV but he narrates it so well. The emotions he carried in this one, he really delivered. Great listen on audiobook.

Alex and Eve a love story

This is the fourth audiobook in the Masters and Mercenaries series and it is another engaging listen. This is Alex and Eve’s story and what a whirlwind it is. Once a married couple, these two have been run through the mill which led to a divorce but continued to be brought together for work and the fact is neither one could walk away. When a particular job comes in, Alex and Eve struggle but it winds up begging the question if their love is gone or if will they be able to reclaim it. Ms. Blake has once again penned an enthralling storyline that listeners cannot help but be moved. As details come out about what Eve goes through to overcome her assault and the strength she shows to reclaim her control pulls at the heartstrings. If that were not enough, listeners will feel the pain of Alex’s inability to protect the one he loved most and the scars he carries are palpable. By the time the audiobook concludes, listeners will feel as if they have run a marathon with the myriad of emotions felt. Narrator Ryan West has a gift of tailoring his voice to fit not just the characters but elevate their emotions to perfectly align with the situation brought about by the masterful words utilized in each chapter shaping the unfolding scenes. One can just drift away on his dulcet tones and see the vivid images in one’s mind. Overall, this is a well written storyline filled with drama, danger, passion, steam and humor. While this audiobook can be heard as a standalone, I recommend the prior books to understand the rest of the characters contained within the over fifteen hours of listening pleasure.
