Mastered, Book 3

By: Lorelei James

Narrated by: Hunter Millbrook, Claire Kilpatrick

In this sizzling continuation of the Mastered series by New York Times best-selling author Lorelei James, a man will find the domination he's always craved....

Shiori Hirano and Knox Lofgren are left to run the martial arts program at Black Arts while Ronin Black travels. On the surface, the two highest ranked belts appear to cooperate--but in private, they butt heads constantly despite the undeniable attraction between them. Soon their power exchanges start to make for a sweltering dynamic in the bedroom....

At first Knox is shocked to be living out his submissive desires, but Shiori sets out to prove that embracing his true sexual nature doesn't make him a weak man. But even while their sexual relationship grants him a power and fulfillment he finds surprising, there's no training regimen for the fight that comes with loving a strong woman....

Romance, Action, & Light BDSM

Good story-line, didn't want to put it down when I needed to get some sleep.
Great author, I have enjoyed the whole series so far.
Okay narrators, not my favorites, but certainly not so bad you that you can't listen to the story.
This book continues at the Black Arts Dojo and has MMA training and fights. The BDSM side is shifted to a Domme & Submissive's journey/discovery of their sexual needs and desires. Definitely has detailed intimacy sprinkled throughout.

I didn't see that coming

Wow. I didn't see that spin coming in book one or two. You knew these two would get together - there was too much love / hate sparking going on. I didn't expect this spin, but it worked.

Unraveled

Only One Word. FANTASTIC! I Love this story, well written, exciting, intriguing and so much more.

Totally Different for me

Shiori is a Domme which makes Knox a submissive...WOWZA! I didn't think it would matter, but honestly it did. I hate that this sounds sexist because I'm not, but I LOVE a great Alpha male! Their arrangement was supposed to be that she was in charge in the bedroom but he was everywhere else. She never respected that. They were together, which was good, but there was so much back and forth with the relationship and confused or blurred lines I found it frustrating. The writing in and of itself was good, just wasn't the story for me.

not my favorite story

Narrator was great but this particular story wasn't my favorite from the series. But still good just not great
