Julia Quinn
Once again, #1 New York Times bestselling author Julia Quinn transports her readers to historical romance heaven! Quinn’s Just Like Heaven is the dazzling first installment of a delightful quartet of Regency Era-set tales featuring the romantic exploits of the well-meaning but less-than-accomplished Smythe-Smith musicians—in this case, a beautiful violinist in the pitiful group who has her sights set on marrying the last unwed Bridgerton…unless her handsome, love-struck guardian has anything to say about it. Bridgerton fans will cry, “Encore!”—as will every reader who adores England’s Regency period and great love stories that are smart, witty, and lighthearted.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Everything but the narrator who was wonderful as always. I'm sorry but this book was painful to get through. It was so boring.....very slow moving...not enough of anything. I must be missing something because so many reviewers loved this book. What am I missing?

The ending of the story felt more like the climax. Quite a few things were not wrapped up and it just didnt feel as well thought out as Quinn’s other stories.
For example: (warning spoilers)
How did the mom react when Daniel returned?
Why could Daniel return now but now before? He says the man after him was crazy but then says all is food now. What changed?
What happened to the mother’s letters? Did Daniel write or lie about the letters. Or did something happen to them?
Where did the governess go? Marcus seemed to know her but nothing came of this. Why put in the detail like something was going on and then drop it? Where did she go after the musical?
Does lady Danbury buy a new violin?
Good start but feels incomplete
