Another great story by Rachel Rhodes

Great little romance which brings in some serious subjects. The twist at the end? I did not see that coming!

Very entertaining!

I received a couple of freebies from this author in this series.

They were both really good books! I like that they are different and even the main characters have flaws, but are still likeable.

I am about to purchase the other two books in the series because I have found another author that I can call a favorite and wait anxiously for their new titles!

Just ok.

I listened to this book at 1.50x

I don't know why, but I just could not get in this 4th book. I had to restart it 4 or 5 times.

True, I heard the book, but I wasn't really listening.

performance was fine, store ok.

Full of Surprises!

This is all twisty and turny! I didn’t realize it would also have some drama and suspense. I really was sure so had figured out what and who...but then I was blown out of the water!! I loved that! So obviously the story was amazing! The characters were fulfilling. I got all caught up in Max’s issues hoping he stays on the straight road.

I did listen to this on audio. Katlynn Millions did great! She is easy and pleasant to listen to. The author did a great job bring me into the story and keeping me guessing the whole time.

so much trouble!!

Emna finds out who her real friends are and who she must ally herself with. Twist. A disgruntled ex employee ties to rion the company over a failed affair. It irked me that Emma kept falling for all Megan's lies and not listening to Gregg her bf! wth? An unexpected twist. I still have a lot of empathy for Oliver and his illness because he had a good heart and positive intentions. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Standalone, no cliffhanger

This was a good one. This series is great at making you think you know what’s going to happen next but you do not lol. She is a dedicated employee, mother, & friend. Too bad everyone is not dedicated to her. I was surprised by the difference directions this book took. Some of the characters made me crazy but I still enjoyed the book. Narration was great I recommend this book and this entire Awkward Series.

watch out for that trouble!

I swear Rachel Rhodes is trying to keep me on my toes. She definitely has my suspicions up the entire book. I kept looking for trouble in all the wrong places! Regardless, trouble finds you!

It's easy to appreciate friends and family. I found myself falling into old habits. It's easy to justify behavior and argue for the "right." Its human nature. Rachel Rhodes puts us in a situation where doubt is inevitable because trust is easily stolen.

I would apologize to some of the characters for my judgement but I think eventually they will forgive me. I only had Emma and Ally's best interests at heart.

I almost want to catalogue this book as a romantic suspense waiting for the trouble to hit. But its sweet, sexy and waiting for you to decide!

Great Read

Awkward in Trouble: Awkward Series, Book Four was another great read by Rachel Rhodes. Emma has everything she ever thought she wanted; a great career, eautiful daughter and a great new boyfriend. Unfortunately her best friend Megan betrayed her in the worst way possible. She finds herself in a professional rivalry with Megan. I really enjoyed listening to Emma's story and loved Katlynn Millions narrations. I can't wait to read more by Rachel Rhodes.

Awkward in Trouble

Emma thinks Megan is her best Friend, but when the cards are down Emma starts to find out who Megan really is. The betrayal make it hard to trust and leaves her wondering who she can really trust. This is series is really fun to listen to and I really enjoying it. The narration is great and really adds to the story.

Good audiobook with a pleasant narration

I enjoyed this instalment in the series. Smart, sassy, and sometimes smouldering, Awkward in Trouble provides cameos of several relationships at a time - mother and daughter, ex spouses, adoptive parents and daughter, friends drifting apart or coming together, and the kindling of a romance that is not without its complications. Though this may sound complex, it's a all simple enough to follow, and I enjoyed it. Good narration, too, which suited the story.

All's fair in love and business.

This is the fourth in a series of stand alone novellas, featuring sexy women fighting for survival in the rat-race.

Emma is a single Mum with a four-year-old daughter, Alyssa, and a high powered job. Her ex husband has restricted access to their daughter but pushes his luck for more time with her, in spite of his alcohol problem. Fortunately Emma's parents are on hand for pretty-much constant babysitting and as a grandmother myself, I was impressed.
There are two men interested in Emma and an evil best friend, so there's plenty going on. Emma is top of her league professionally (as she told us rather too frequently), but there is fierce competition for the contracts she is chasing.

This is my second Rachel Rhodes book, both excellently narrated by Katlynn Millions. However, I'm sorry to say I didn't rate this book as highly as Trouble in Print. Awkward in Trouble seemed to be lacking the tension I enjoyed in Awkward in Print and it could have done with being a bit longer, so I could get to know the characters a bit better.
3.5* rounded up to 4*.

Awkward in Trouble

This book had me guessing from beginning to end. It was filled with all sorts of drama, and it had a twist I didn't see coming. I wasn't sure who was going to be by Emma's side at the end, but I enjoyed the ride and the way it ended. This is my second book of the series and, so far, I highly recommend the series. Katlynn Millions has a great voice and does a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I received this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Wow

Wow what incredible writing! There is just so much in this book. It showcases all of the good and the bad that can happen in relationships.

We see Emma go through so many events with all of the people in her life and I was just as shocked as she was when they are revealed.

Such an amazing book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Narrator was new to me and a great job. The author is also new to me and I hopefully will hear/read more from both.

Thanks for gifting me this awesome audiobook ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Awkward but so good!

Awkward in Trouble sums up this novel to a "T"! Rachel Rhodes knocks is out of the park with this story of redemption, deception and second chance love. There is so much in this one, I don't even know where to start. Emma, a divorced mom, begins dating her client, Greg. Megan, her best friend is dumped by her married boss. Oliver, is obsessed with Emma and Max is her alcoholic ex-husband. Put all these characters together, and we have a wonderfully written story. We get to watch Emma and Greg begin their path of love, Megan unravel as her life is obsessed with jealousy and rage, Oliver be there for Emma in her time of need and not and Max find his way to a new life. It's full of awkward moments, yet I was so entranced with the story and the outcome that I just had to finish. The characters are so easy to understand and I loved the interaction as Emma really came into her own. Add in how cute her daughter Alyssa is and it's just a wonderful listen. Katlynn Millions brings it all to life with her amazing performance. This is one you will get lost in and enjoy.
