Great Story!

While a lot of people don't like Virtual voice, the costs of publishing audiobooks are very high for indie authors. This is so much better than listening to text to speech or Alexa read the book.

SO happy to see a favorite author make her work accessible to her readers in a new format! The narration is pleasant and easy to listen to, and the story is fun with some spice. So happy to see some new additions to the Plus catalog!

Great Alexa Replacement

This is not a traditional audiobook, please do not review based on that. I frequently listen to indie author’s books via Alexa and this virtual voice book is a far better reading experience than that! The AI has tone and the words with homonyms are actually pronounced correctly. This seems like a good idea for authors to provide an accessible copy of their book regardless of the cost prohibitive nature of human recorded books.

Enjoyable

The virtual voice was good it would be cooler if you could get it to do a male voice for the guys.

enjoyed very much recommend.

I appreciate it having it read to me. I a very sensitive hearing so the virtual reader works for me as the voice doesn't go too high or low. I really enjoy the story the main character isn't typical as she is in her thirties and is so smart but was doing well with her toxic family members and workplace. I like the progression of the character. the love interest for the FMC I enjoy how they except her right away as is. the story does have paranormal characters and non-typical situation to get the story started. though there are paranormal characters there are still real life situations written in a paranormal wayreal life situations

All about the story for me

I primarily read and typically only listen to audiobooks that I have previously read. This title was no exception. While the AI voice reading did not ADD to the story like a typical voice actor does, it also DID NOT distract from the story. I was able to enjoy this book again via a different means. I don’t know if it’s possible but the only improvement for the performance would be if AI voice could be a man’s when reading the male POV. As always, loved Erin’s writing style and the story.

The beginning of a new and fantastic Trilogy,

This is a fantastic new trilogy that had me hooked from the beginning! Avery is one of those characters that I automatically fell in love with. The voice is on point and I’m looking forward to hearing the other 2 books in this series.

Good story

Enjoyed the book, it was well written and liked the premise of a trilogy being released on each day of the weekend, giving me a whole weekend of a new series without having to be patient.

I didn't like the part where her sister and her brother abused her well are all entire family but finally she's getting a backbone to stand up to them

Nope!

Don’t do it!! 🚫❌🚫❌🚫
1st of all the virtual voice is horrible and second the main female character only cares about herself and she can do NO wrong and it’s always someone else’s fault never hers. You don’t have to pay a credit for this book, but you’ll never get those 8 hours back either
