Story
Temporary peace descends on the Deschanels in New Orleans. Loved ones have returned. A calm appears in the chaos. Life is, seemingly, back to normal. Those who had been away look to establish their new routine. They trade intrigue for dinner parties. Survival skills for day jobs. Settling into a quiet life comes with a sense of long-awaited relief, and they want, desperately, to embrace it with open arms. Yet under the surface lurks the shadows of their past, and the promises of tomorrow. A whisper in their ear, reminding them, “Soon.”

Story
Ana Deschanel made a terrible mistake. The only chance of protecting the other people involved is to flee New Orleans, the only home she has ever known, for the quiet solitude of the remote North Atlantic. Summer Island, Maine (population 202) is not the tranquil escape Ana envisioned. The locals are distant and cold, especially her neighbor, the reclusive veterinarian Jonathan St. Andrews. Her only lifeline is the kind but odd caretaker, Alex Whitman, who conveniently shows up at all the right moments, warning her she’s completely unprepared for a Summer Island winter.

Another Prophecy..
Any additional comments?
The Deschanel family is still trying to recover from the curse.
This book focuses more on the relationship development between the main characters and
there was an update on previous characters.
Overall, the story line was entertaining and I look forward to the next book in the series.
LC Kane did ok with the narration.
