If you liked Blair, it’s similar… including the MCs emotional stability.

It started great for a couple hours until some complex topics were introduced that the MC (mentally at least) couldn’t handle. This author is pretty good at making different types of interesting systems and general world elements but his MCs seem to always stumble into great power and become pricks. The MCs constant complaining and inability to think things through gave me a headache similar to the Blair series. In both books the characters act like emotional babies… but with a red button that launches a nuke.

As for the story, it’s kind of bare bones and doesn’t seem like the focus for this title. To me it seems like the focus is to introduce an interesting world rather than tell a real story which sometimes I like. I would also add that the VA is great at general dialogue but not my favorite for voicing other characters.

I liked it! A different approach and kept me entertained tell the end! The narrator was great and really got into the roll!
Cover art is nice! Hope the next book comes out soon!

She not the sharpest tool in the shed

The story is interesting however Arc isn’t the smartest protagonist. Her attempts to hide her status is laughable and she makes several asinine choices while acting like an entitled child and then goes and does the exact thing that pisses her off

Good overall no BS. Voice actress is very good. She is not just reading.
