Publisher's summary

Magic is fading, and humanity is at the brink of extinction.

Sybil lived and breathed the life of a miner, delving deep into monster-infested caverns and perilous shafts, risking her life to unearth Relics of an ancient past for food and shelter. That is until one day, she discovers a Relic that would change her fate from a simple miner to an Ascended—a Relic that connected her to the magic that was once lost.

Ok so here it is

So, I’m not gonna lie to you and say this is the most well written book of all time. It’s clear that this is a newer author. That being said, I thought the story was interesting, entertaining and engaging. I look forward to seeing this new authors growth, and feel that they have a tremendous amount of potential.

good

It's a good old murder festival. The MC wants to go to the end of the world and is willing to kill everything in her way. When we cut away from the MC, we get world-building and hints that some chosen one stuff is going on. Overall, it's a fun first book that shows a lot of promise when the MC finally returns to camp.

Was this translated into English?

I am hoping this was originally written in a language other than English. If not, I have no idea how it was ever published.
The story could have been decent, but the language was so bad I gave up a few chapters in.

Good listen

This was an enjoyable new entry to the genre. My only real issues were pacing at some points and detail overload occasionally. Neither of these issues ruined the story or took away from it enough to not get max stars.

Impulsive MC, great story.

A gritty survival LitRPG. The protagonist is incredibly impulsive. The progression is decently balanced w the story. I can't believe she chose dps over recovery. Recovery can save you from nearly anything but she chose power. That bodes ill for the next book but it'll be such a journey.

Not good, not awful. Just....meh

I don't really know what to say about this book, i made it 3/4ths of the way through before i realized it still hadn't really hooked me and i was checking the time over and over so i could move on to another book. Frankly speaking, the is pretty cookie cutter as litrpg's go. Protag is super antisocial, randomly gets super rare mcguffin thingy, goes on a lone woman monster/bad human killing spree, becomes pretty much the poster child for sociopaths, and finally everyone starts screaming in fear or admiration that she is a monster. You've seen it once you have seen it a thousand time. It doesn't help that the battle scenes aren't very fluid or make a lot of sense. Couple that with a bunch of Esoteric scenes with people rambling about nonsense like they just dropped a massive hit of ascid and you have me pretty much zoning out and checking my watch. The author also carries the MC through chapters basically by hand waving vague feelings and hunches that she has not evidence for but somehow work out anyway. All and all it is a low average first time writers litrpg. Considering i have seen hundreds of this type by now it really wasn't for me. I could see some first timers enjoying it, but i wouldn't recommend it to any. I will probably return this book.

meh. once again, once more,

ok... story started well enough even with a lack of early character development.

not far into the naration I'm hit with how many times the author uses the same word or word combination to excess.

Once more, instantly, and once again are some repeat offenders.

I like how our MC tends to keep moving but you never really get a feel for the time involved as the it never really reaches a consistent pace. I cannot say how well the end of book one was as I could not pass the halfway mark.

The narrator helped me get as far as I did but the author may wish to invest in a thesaurus and dictionary.

again the story has great potential and I really think the author needs to keep trying and maybe proof their texts and possibly run it through the editing phase a few times as it comes off closer to a first draft than a finished story.

Melodramatic Much

loved the story but couldn't get over the way the narrator was constantly treating the MC like a female that has had her broken by the highschool quarterback. I understand part of it is how she is written, however that's only part. it became cringe worthy and greatly took away from the overall audiobook.
