The second book was just as good as the first. I wasn’t looking for a new series when I picked up the first book on sale but it appears I have a new series to read. Just enough suspense to have your purchasing the next book before this one is over.

Great Addition to the series
People were upset with how the end of book one ended but I say it was a good thing. If the gods didn't take away his power imagine what could have happened if it was taken away in a crucial moment. Jeb is of course less powerful on paper but by the end he's almost back to his previous self and without any fancy system helping him. Plots are revealed secrets are hinted and we are left with a dark cloud on the horizon which may spell doom for all inhabitants of the world Jeb now lives in. Book 3 Sounds like it will be a blast. One way or another. Oh boy Oh boy . . . Oh boy . . . Oh Boy

Super!
I liked the book. I wanted to love it though. I love the word play. The author has an amazing sense of humor. The narrator does an amazing job being the words to life in my head. I like that he struggles for everything and is clever enough to get out of bad situations. A lot of funny parts keep that up.
In this book the MC is still very smart in stupid situations but as someone who used to be super strong he sucks! Hahaha. He is weak and just sucks. Lol I still don’t understand how he is powering up all the way, but I hope it continues to develop more. I’ll for sure get the next one.

Loved these 2 books so far. The length is ok too. I prefer 10+ hours but that's just me. The story line is good looking forward to what's going to happen next!

Wonderfully entertaining
I got the first book in this series on a wim while I was waiting for another title. Definitely a jem. I love the way this story is told. Keeps you wanting more from start to finish.

First Book Ending JUSTIFIED!
I was PISSED at the first books ending, so pissed I went into the second ready to punt it back to Audible if it did not IMMEDIATELY pull me in. Happy to report it's better than the first book! Absolutely worth the credit and looking forward to the next book!
