Publisher's Summary

Holy f--king hearts.
Did you just read that?!
If you did, I need your advice.

I met fallen angel princes; I met a Savage Duke; I met a Cheshire Cat. And remember - how could you possibly forget - I'm the fabled Alice from the prophecy. Just a twisted, dark version of the girl in Lewis Carroll's old books.

Except in those books, there was a happy ending. In those books, Alice wasn't dating nine very different, very beautiful men. But now that I've met the King of Hearts and the Mad Hatter, I'm not sure who the real bad guys are.

I'm the only one who can turn Underland back into Wonderland again. But if I have a chance to escape the blood, the death, and the intrigue in this place, should I take it? I'm Allison Liddell, and I've got a choice to make: stay here and fight the darkness, defeat the Anti-Alice, and survive the Torrid Tea Party...or run.

Tweedledee says I can change the world. So if you're listening to this, will you help me decide what I should do? I want to go home, but I can't leave this place as broken as I found it, now can I?

ALLISON AND THE TORRID TEA PARTY (Book 2 of 3 in the Harem of Hearts series) is a full-length reverse harem/new adult/dark romance novel, a gritty retelling of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Don't expect a children's tale; these characters are nothing like their more innocent counterparts. This book contains: drugs, cursing, violence, sex...and love found in the darkest shadows.

Alice is so annoying

I listened to the first book and thought the sequel would be worth a read hoping the characters and story would develop more but I’m not even half way through and I’m finding it near impossible to continue.
Alice complains constantly and she’s really unlikeable. She comes across as bitchy and annoying, always angry and hard there’s no softness about her that makes her a well rounded character, there’s nothing redeemable about her. All she does is drool over the men, screw them like a horny idiot that has no self control.
She ponders why the twins would be worried about her or why she would care about them having only known them for a couple of days. Sooooooo....she’ll sleep with them but liking them to her is weird? Ok. Good to know she doesn’t have to like a person to screw them.

Ughh I’m just not going to finish. I don’t mind harem books but this series has no emotion to it. I don’t care or like any of the characters especially Alice. The men all seem the same, hot jerks with tattoos that dress like hookers.

Disappointed.

Series is one of my favorites!

I had a couple problems with a few mispronounced words, but they’re easy to ignore, so it’s forgivable. Overall though, I soooo can’t wait for the third one to be released. This series keeps popping up in my head, demanding I listen to it again and again, but it’s just not complete without all three and I really want to marathon this series as soon as it does. It’s that good of an Alice in Wonderland rehash.

Loved It

Once you finish the first book, you can't help but jump right into this one. It's just as exciting beautifully written and tantalizing. I've already read it twice.

Great story and also sexy

I have always loved Alice in wonderland and this fantasy version is great. I really love the real(ish) aspect along with the crazy wonderland brings. Also the love making is written is just the right amount of sexy without being overly vulgar or cringeworthy.

I love Chesh!!

I've read this book before on Kindle, but I just HAD to hear it!! I enjoy the accents of the narrators, but the MC is supposed to be American. That's my ONLY criticism. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Draged on too long...

You can tell instantly they added too much of Allison's complaining and whiny thoughts to prolong the chapters. I thought for sure in the second book her true badass nature would come out but nope. Just more of a TRUE whiny child, not to mention I hate, her relationship with her family. Especially with her younger sister, and how for an annoying child she doesn't know how to lie! come on, all kids including TEENS know how to lie. Allison explains in one of the chapters, she does well under pressure but she crumbles like a stack of cards when her family bombards her with their questions of where's she's been. Epic FAIL. Plus it wasn't hard to put together that the anti Alice was going to be at least family. I mean, really. In all 2 stars out of 5. Now Allison is turning me into a whiner for complaining about how annoying and badly written the storyline is. I hope book three is better but I won't keep my hopes too high...

eh

I'd have loved this book more it if were about an adult Alice and maybe one that didn't try to preach at me about misogyny inbetween sex scenes and kisses while being misogynistic in her own right... like i get the mesaage but.. bringing up Trump and other modern things threw me out of the story. Also idk why but the narrorator says 'chest' funny and that snaps me out of the book too lmao

Outstanding

I am loving this retelling of Alison in Wonderland, it’s dark exciting and dramatic. Along with a selection of colourful and amazing characters I just did not want to put it down! The narrators really bring this story to life, I can see it all playing out in my head. The way they characterise the cast is fantastic each character is different, especially the male characters, I am looking forward to book three

Amazing Book!

The end of the first book was an amazing end, and so is this. This book is neither better nor worse because both books are amazing! Almost all questions that were left from the first book are answered in the second and all "nine big men with nine big c**ks" are revealed in this book. The steam in this book is epic, as well as all the different play on words. I am listening to this series as an audiobook and both narrators are amazing for these characters, they have both the mixture of english accents from the original Alice in Wonderland and that additional accent of American to make it different, because these days there are so many books based in America. I definitely don't regret reading this, this is definitely a book I would recommend but only for those who can stomach the sex, drugs, and abuse that is mentioned in it. It was definitely a good book though. I loved this book!
