This book would be great for a kid interested in horses. Has a lot of interesting facts and trivia type questions with answers.

Fun Trivia For People Who Love Horses

This is a great audiobook for the car with your kids who love interesting facts about animals, especially those who like horses!

Great, fun book!

I learned some interesting stuff on this one. This was a great audiobook to put on in the car for my son. We pass many horses in the fields around where we live so this was neat. We will listen to it a few times as it's pretty hard to remember all the facts but I will be putting this one in the rotation for sure!

Engaging and Entertaining

This audio kept my kids away from their electronics for almost an hour in the car. The book is put together like a trivia, where the narrator would ask a question and give them a few choice answers. My younger son tried to answer first and if he was wrong my teenager would try to help him and give the right answer. Some of the questions were challenging for the 10-year-old, but more often than not his guesses were better than those of his older brother, as he is the one who is interested in horses. The bottom line - it kept them busy and engaged the whole ride to their grandparents' house with no need to reach for their phones. Loved it!
Also, the narrator has a very pleasant voice. Overall, great experience!

Lots of facts in a format for younger listeners

100 (plus a bonus 101) facts about horses. Not having a lot of exposure to horses, I learned a lot. like don't walk close behind a house with a red ribbon on its tail, that means they kick!

I would have liked a little more detail on some of the facts, and a lot less music, but maybe the music works well for younger listeners.

The narration was upbeat and engaged.

Excellent for those planning to buy a horse

This book was filled with information I had no idea existed related to horses. I moved from city to rural country side with lots of farms, cattle and horses around a few years back. The kids often ask questions as we drive through the prairies regarding horses and other animals and I would fumble about it.. Well No more fumbling for answers about horses! I feel like a a walking encyclopedia on horses now!
Kids enjoyed the questions/answers session as well on our recent road trip. It has inspired my oldest now to wanting to get into horse riding lessons.

Perfect for the family!

Bought this as our family was going on a road trip, and our daughter is in love with horses, and figured why not have some educational entertainment in the background. All the Pretty Horses is full of the most fascinating, and fun facts about horses, many of which I never knew.

The narrator is enjoyable to listen to and easy to follow along with, and the facts were suited to kids as well, without too many complex concepts to go over their head. Would recommend for a road trip, or for anyone who loves horses.

Basic Questions And Answers About Horses

This book is an excellent trivia book about horses and all the other great features these wonderful animals bring with them. It's an excellent book for both children and adults. It answered many questions about horses for someone like me who had never ridden a horse before. I highly recommend this book. The narrator did a fantastic job explaining each detail.

Fun book!

My kids love this book! My kids love horses, and especially we see them a lot here in Texas. They learned so many facts about horses in this book. I highly recommend it to everyone of all ages. This will be great to play during a family road trip!

A MUST FOR HORSE LOVERS!

This was such a fun and engaging listen while driving my little cousins to school. I never knew horse can eat 20 pounds of hay a day or a horses brain weighs 22 ounces. I only got a hand of questions right but I learned so much. If your a horse lover like me you will love this.
