So funny and cute

I love the banner between the characters. I found myself laughing and crying. I loved the characters and their personal dilemmas.

Would you consider the audio edition of About That Fling to be better than the print version?

Once the audio came out I didn't read my print version. Library is backed up and I wanted to get to the story faster.

What did you like best about this story?

How Adam handled the whole ordeal with Jenna and Mia being best friends. He kept his cool the best he could considering everything that was going on. Then there was how Aunt Gert saw everything.

What does Kelly Mizell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She just added another layer to Jenna's voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh. Tawna knows how to tell a good story.

Any additional comments?

I would highly recommend listening to this story. Everything Jenna and Adam deal with makes you look at life and say if they can why can't we. This book has a lot of layers and some really hard choices for Jenna to learn and over come. It's truly a wonderful book of a woman overcoming so major issues she's dealing with.

The emotion and the small detail that the writer created was something I have either felt or can relate to.

Which scene was your favorite?

The part when they met in the bar. I'v been on so many first dates....it reminded me that some of them were A LOT of fun.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

the moments when Jenna was torn between her best friend and falling in love.

About that Fling Stars

I am on the fence if I loved it or liked it. It was different. I wasn’t sure what I wanted out of this book. I liked the connection each character has whether it’s a connection that makes everyone comfortable or not.

I have never experienced any of the heavy issues addressed in this book but my heart goes out to people who have.

I found the book to be a little slow; I liked the time line and all but just felt like we were waiting for something that never really happened.

I am not really sure how to write this review to be honest, I don’t want to give anything away if I talk about it. So I will go generic.

Jenna falls for her best friend Mia’s ex-husband. Her elderly aunt writes erotica. What a hoot she was. And they all have to find a way to work together because Adam the ex has been hired at both Jenna and Mia’s work place.

I smiled a lot in this book, over all a great listen because I upgraded to the audio. I really enjoyed Kelly Mizell’s narration. Worth the read for sure.

I enjoyed the book but the love scenes were trash. It wouldn’t hurt to put a little more effort into them. Otherwise, the book was pretty good.
