Fantastic sequel for the series
Loved Alice avatar one of the best books in the series. Great narration really developed the characters. Looking forward to the next book. The storytelling is very good with great characters like Jake and his many wives as well as the Alice’s.

I love this series, but nothing is perfect. This book is the bad apple in that basket. New narrator is near monotone and uninteresting, story reads more like a romance novel than anything else, and far too much focus on the new AI body and the transition of the AI:ICEs to it.

Too much sexuality not enough story
This series started out with a good amount of story with a little good humored romantic encounters sprinkled in. This book has taken that and flopped it on its head. The story is total garbage, the whole thing is about basically about Alice wanting to have sex. Instead of the story building up, everything is resolved 2 sentences after a “problem” comes up. The narrator is a total joke. This is the last Alice book I’ll be reading. Which is unfortunate because I liked the story in the beginning. But it’s gone downhill the last couple books.
