About this listen

Hours of space opera action await in the Galaxy's Most Wanted series!

A smuggler in the wrong place. An ancient alien technology. Now, everyone is after him.

Kai Fletcher thought he could go straight, until he couldn’t. And when his last "last" job goes wrong, he finds himself stowed away in a starship belonging to an alien crime syndicate.

Forced into servitude to pay the debt for passage off world, Kai bargains with the syndicate. All he has to do is help them rob the Vakness Empire, the most powerful alien empire in known space, and he gets to go home.

Easy Peasy. Until it isn’t.

Planning the heist, Kai discovers that the Vakness Empire has stolen ancient alien technology that will allow them to achieve their dream of ruling over all other sentient species. He's never been a good guy, but even he has limits.

Hunted by both the Empire, and the syndicate, he manages to get on the wrong side of everyone in the galaxy who wants the discovery for themselves.

Kai just wanted to get back to Chicago, but instead, he’s become the Galaxy’s Most Wanted in this Sci-Fi thrill ride from Michael LaVoice!

"An interplanetary Ocean’s 11. Well worth the read."—Jeffery H. Haskell, Author of The Grimm's War series.

I liked how the writer had interwoven earth history into new possibilities. I do think there was a little too much time spent on describing details that didn’t matter.

Great series

This is a "fun enough" series. I'm glad I listened to it, though by book 4 I will admit I was also ready for it to end.
The voice acter does a good job but has a bit of a slow paced style. Not bad. If you are into hard core science fiction, this is not really what your looking for. But if you want something light, kind of fun with a little humor this would be a good fit.

Kind of a b-movie Scify

While it fell into the trap of spending a little too much time describing battles from time to time, these books are more focused on the characters. And as added benefit, no zombies.

4 books for 1 credit - definitely worth it

Michael LaVoice prose was good and the first 2 books were both entertaining and humorous at times. Book 3 showed signs of predictability and the final book tended to be repetitive and less interesting. One of the main themes of the story was the MC doing everything he could to save his younger, somewhat reckless, brother. He chose to do this by bringing him on board the alien spaceship on their quest to save the galaxy and yet, his brother continued his reckless behavior. The thing is, both of them were relegated to the spaceship and stopovers with very little human contact. I mean, who could blame the younger brother for his non-reversible decision in the end?

Christian J. Gilliland's performance was good.

Worth the credit

The author is slowly writing the main character into a much dumber individual. It's unfortunate, the story has such potential.

Good performance, but...
