Too Long but Good

i started off liking it but it got repetitive and so i felt like they could skip book two and go to three or shorten the last two. i also look at my cat differently now but that's a different comment.....

Ok book...

Ok book...that's all the price was right but the story was ok, not great or even good.

It’s meh

Characters aren’t very deep and story is only mildly interesting. Narrator has a hard time speaking in different character voices. I don’t think I will continue the series after the set included with my membership is done. Overall it was mediocre

like a "slice of life" anime

A relaxing story. Enough for me to be interested. not fast-paced, but I enjoyed it.

love the whole story

at first I didn't think I was going to like the story and now I'm in love with it I got all 9 of books

Amateur, but Very Promising

I could tell these were early in Craig's career, but they showed an innate understanding of character and portrayed conflict and goals very well. The pacing was just the right balance of relaxation and rising stakes. I barely noticed the length of this collection!

The narrator was too monotone for me.

I enjoyed the concept of the story. I felt like something was missing though. I hope to see an improvement as it continues.

World of imagination

I love how the storyline changes as you find out more about the world they live in. very science fiction fantasy the ancient ancestors came from Earth on a colony ship and the world has regressed to a period similar to the Middle Ages

YA or Children's Tale

Nice story but definitely not an adult story. Was a pleasant read with interesting if simplified characters.
primarily set on a backwards world with regressed humans living simply & crudely hundreds of years after after advanced humans have destroyed themselves through a war over genetic engineering.
(which explains all the talking animals & mutant species.)
nicely done for what it is, but not the typical fare I'd come to expect from this author.

Lost me when they doomed the ladies to death.

i loved it all the way up until the first fight with humans. Where the protagonists kill a whole tribes men and warriors.
this wouldnhave been fine, its a savage world, but then they go on to execute the male elder for the crime of.. being mad the protagonists killed his son and apparently was a male. since the implication is that he was mean or something even though there was no evidence provided to make the act more palatable for the reader.
what lost me was when the women of the hunter gatherer raider tribe said they had been left defenseless they handed the women swords and said if you think you can fight you can.. and then i turned it off.
idk maybe ill finish it, probably wont..
