A good read

I enjoyed reading the Tribute of Fire so much and it was hard waiting for the second book. A vow of Embers is also good especially the last several chapters of the book. I’m excited to read the last book when it comes out. This book did have Lia and Xander fight a lot! I realize there was a lot for them to work out in their relationship, but Lia in particular became annoying in downplaying or dismissing any sign of affection from Xander. The story really picked up in the last ten or so chapters.

Great second book

I liked Tribute of Fire. I LOVED Vow of Embers. I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more.

I love this world and the characters!!

I wish the 3rd book was out!!! This has been my new obsession and favorite book! I love these characters! 💕💕💕

Such a great middle book in the series

Just how much am I loving the Eye of the Goddess series by Sariah Wilson? Enough to not only have received an arc on Netgalley, but also enough that I grabbed it on Audible.

It’s a MUST to read the first book in the series, so if 🛑stop now🛑if you don’t want possible spoilers.

This book continues on with Lia’s adventures in her quest to find the truth of the eye of the goddess and she finds herself blackmailed to marry Alexandros. In a combination of intense romantic connection and the consuming need to hate him, Lia is battling many things–including herself.

Sariah Wilson has outdone herself with this epic tale and I need the rest of the story ASAP. While the timeline isn’t long, the pacing is brisk and the emotions and mysteries are well done. I could feel every single one and gasped at the twists this story took. This romantasy has it all–magic/fantasy elements, romance, adventure, battles, and action. I love the deep connections found throughout, as well as the strong loyalty ties.

⚠️This story has a couple of chapters that are open door romance and are mentioned in the beginning if the reader chooses to avoid them.

Leaves You Foaming At The Mouth

Dissect this one with a fine tooth comb romantasy girlies! It is going to leave you foaming at the mouth! This Slowburn is BURNING!!! The yearning, the utter devastation, the character growth, the foreshadowing, it was all done so well. This is going to leave you yearning for not just their relationship but for the climax of this series. It is so close; I can taste it. I am so happy we don’t have to wait long for the third and final book of the series because I need it!

Already waiting for book 3

After reading A Tribute of Fire, I have been not so patently waiting for A Vow of Embers. I burned through it in 2 days. This story is epic, love Lia and Xander and their roller coaster of emotions/ romantic tension. The only bad thing about this book is that I now have to wait for the conclusion of the story until the next book comes out.

Full of action

Sometimes the 2nd book in a series of 3 is a disappointment. A Vow of Embers breaks this trend. While there is still more to the story, this book expands all that A Tribute of Fire awoke us to. It is worth the read.

LOVED!

LOVED this book! This is such an underrated series. Book 2 did not disappoint!

A great follow up to A Tribute of Fire

Been waiting for this one. I sped through this book. A great continuation of the story, good character development and pacing. Perfect narration.

Loving the series so far. I just wish we could all experience their story from the beginning from Alexandros perspective.
