My best friend made a deal with the devil....

I now run The Supernatural Dating Agency, a discreet section of Withernsea's finest matchmaking service. Yeah, I'll do all the work while Shelley makes babies with her gorgeous vampire husband. It's not like I've anything better to do anyway. My ex is now a newly turned vamp struggling to accept he can no longer admire his own reflection, and I don't care what Ebony "sees", Kim is not about to date a wolf; he has better hair than I do.

Then Lucy Fir, fresh from the gates of guarding Hell, decides she wants me to find her a boyfriend. He'll need to be a knight in shining inflammable armor with her temper. Can I find her a date, or is my new career damned before it's even started?

Welcome to Withernsea and the Supernatural Dating Agency, for listeners of Michelle Rowen, Gerry Bartlett, and Michele Bardsley who like their humor to have bite.

Buy A Devil of a Date if you like your romance...hot.

Lucy is such a fun character!

Getting Lucy's story was a great next step into this world. I did get a bit bothered by the back and forth focus on the story, but it was also interesting build up for future - just wish it had been a bit less. Trying to not give any huge spoilers.

overflowing with laughter and snark

This is a unique and engaging series with a plethora of supernatural creatures to enjoy. My heart went out to Frankie, and I rooted for him to gain self acceptance and embrace his changed status. I'm happy with the way things came together in the end. aahhh! Great feels. The interactions and laughs are priceless. The narrator was awesome.

Cute and fun

I really enjoyed listening to this book. I loved hearing about Lucy’s and how oddly relatable they are to trying to get out there after being out so long.

A Devil of a Date

Lucy spent decades as a devil. Now thanks to Shel she's back in the human realm. But becoming human again is hard. Add to this Kim's problem with Frankie, ex wizard turned vampire, and it seems like hell on Earth.
The narrator is fantastic in her voice portrayals of each character and it's a joy to listen to the story!!
Fantastic audio and story!!

LOVED IT

This book had me laughing all the way through. Not a dull moment in this book. This book was even better than book 1 and i just loved book 1. The characters are lovable and funny. I definitely will continue this series.

The narrator does an excellent job with each characters voices.

I was gifted the book at my request in exchange for an honest review.

A Devil of a Good Time

Return to Withernsea and the Supernatural Dating Agency and this fun cast of characters in the second story. Lucy may have gotten out of hell, but she's no angel. She decides that what she need to become fully human is to find love again. So she seeks the help of Kim and the SDA. But finding Lucy a match won't be easy, and Kim has her own issues to deal with - mainly her clingy ex-lover wizard turned vampire. You get to see all the characters you know from the first book as the story bounces between Lucy and Kim's POV. Secrets, twists, danger, and plenty of laughs will all be found in this book. And despite all the numerous disastrous dates Lucy goes on, you'll never guess who her true love is or see the end coming.
I could have used a little more variation in the voices of the different characters, but the narration flows very nicely and is pleasant to listen to.

Supernatural Dating Agency

I love the premise of this series: a dating agency for supernatural species! This book continues the story set out in Book 1 and you really should read the first book in order to know the background for this book.

Kim is now running the Supernatural side of the Dating Agency while Shelly focuses on the human side. And, by the way, Shelly and her hot vampire hubby, Theo, have to try to make a baby during the one week in 100 years that he can do it. So, Kim is pretty much on her own.

Except, her best friend and former lover, Frankie, is now a vampire, but doesn't seem to be able to do all the vampy things he should do, like drink blood. And, he can't be away from Kim even for bathroom breaks! In the meantime, Lucy Fir is a recently released demon who needs to find love fast.

This book/series has vampires, seers, weres and shifters, angels, pixies, demons, ghosts and a few humans to entertain the reader. I loved the interaction between the species and the descriptions of Lucy's horrible dates are LOL funny. There is plenty of snark, sexual innuendo and cursing, so if that bothers you, stay away!

The narrator, Angela Doll, does a good job, but I do have a few complaints about her performance. Her voices for the different characters are not distinct enough to know who is talking a lot of the time and I had to play catch up to know who was talking. Also, the book is obviously set in the UK, but Ms. Doll is very American in her speech.

I look forward to future adventures in the world of Supernatural dating and hope that Ms. Long continues the series for a long time. I was given the chance to listen to the audiobook version of this book by the author and chose to review it.

Another Great Book With Awesome Narration!!

A Devil of a Date is a great addition to the Supernatural Dating Agency series, and once again Angela Doll does a great job of bringing it to life!! Andie M. Long is a fantastic writer who weaves tales that keeps the reader entertained. Shelley and Theo take somewhat of a backseat in this one to Kim, Lucy, and Frankie, but Shelley and Theo still make frequent appearances and there is a surprise for them at the end! Kim doesn't get her happily ever after yet, but Lucy and Frankie might. You just have to listen to it to find out! You won't be wasting your time by listening to this book! This book is well worth every minute you'll spend on it!
