Incredible trilogy

This trilogy kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The way I now care for these characters, you’d think they were real. The ending wrapped everything up beautifully. how I wish I could follow along for the rest of their lives, it will probably consume me for the rest of mine.

Perfect Book 3

This was such a treat! I fell in love with this series earlier this year and had completely forgot this was due to release. The audio narrator is perfect and the story has so many enjoyable bits. Not too long of an audio book too- perfect for a couple days reading. So glad to have gotten a chance to listen to book 3!

3rd book

Sariah Wilson is a great writer and what an amazing close the story. I will miss this series.

Story
A Curse of Ashes was everything I hoped for in the final installment of this trilogy. It wrapped the story up in a way that felt powerful, emotional, and completely satisfying.

This book was non stop the entire time! The plot was plotting! This book has everything I love. Magic, war, heartbreak, revelations, political layers, and the best sisterhood. I laughed, I cried, I cheered, and I kept stopping to reread certain lines because they were so beautifully written.

One of my favorite things about Sariah Wilson’s writing is how she portrays women. Their strength never comes from bitterness or cruelty. Their power comes from compassion, softness, loyalty, love, and instinct, yet they still fight like warriors. These characters don’t have to harden to become strong and I loved that. It made the story feel meaningful on a deeper level.

The writing is gorgeous without ever feeling heavy. It’s descriptive, immersive, and smart, but never bloated with filler. The pacing is tight. The dialogue is fun and real. The romance is tender and beautifully written. And the emotional moments…

I loved Lias growth. I think for her age and experience it all unfolded exactly as it needed to. The way she allowed herself to be honest and vulnerable with Xander. The love confessions...🥰🥰🥰

I laughed and cried and had the best time! This wrapped everything up and we get to see things come full circle. The ending was absolutely perfect! I will recommend this trilogy forever!

Audiobook
Therese Plummer delivers a great performance! Her delivery and cadence are spot-on, perfectly matched to the flow of the story and keeping you locked in from start to finish. You can feel that she’s fully invested in the storyline, which only draws you in deeper.

Loved this trilogy!

Really well developed story. Interesting plot twists, and turns. I enjoyed the arc of the characters over the course of the series. I loves the conclusion and hope to revist them again in future books.
