Freshly respawned.

Far from home.

All alone.

Up until now, Montana's journey really only went one direction: up. But now he's back at square one, stuck on top of a mountain with only the most basic gear to help get him back to Coggeshall. It's going to be a long walk.

But not a boring one.

In one of LitRPG's most legendary medieval fantasy road trips (and also possibly the only one), Montana encounters a pack of just-this-side-of-feral wolf people; a town straight out of the Wild West - complete with heavy-handed sheriff; a lion desperately trying to take down a colossal fish monster; ancient cursed ruins; and a giant flying frog.

Eastbound and Town is an epic story full of combat, loot, and achievements. You better believe Montana is loaded up and truckin' and gonna do what they say can't be done.

LitRPG means Literary Role Playing Game. Simply put, it’s the book version of watching someone play a video game, usually one that’s set up like an MMO (massively multiplayer online) RPG. It’s a blend of sci-fi and fantasy, depending on how it comes to be that our main character ends up living inside a virtual reality. the point of LitRPG is not how we get there, but that we get to be in this virtual reality period, living life as a badass video-game character. Beat the grind and submerse yourself in these addictive LitRPGs.

alright so let's get this out of the way its a little less action packed then the other books but dam is it still good. I mean I glad to see some more town building and see the growth of the community. the next book seems like will be lots of new things coming and can't wait.

Look forward to the rest of the series. Can't wait for the two main characters to come together from the other series!

Great Series

This book is a massive improvement in the plots and actions of characters in this series that had frustrated me. This installment is a great example of a series getting a shrug and 'it's decent enough' developing into 'hey, there's a lot to enjoy and love here and it's worth it'. I started with The Bad Guys and am glad I restarted this one knowing how fun this world can

I passed up this series many times because the cover artwork did nothing to draw me in. The reviews however, did. Based on the reviews I decided to give it a chance and I'm happy I did because I LOVE this series! That being said, I just want to say that while I love Fritz, I do not love the landshark or the flying frog. Both did nothing to add to the story and were awkward and odd.
And enough of the prinkies already!
Other than that, the series continues to be one of my favorites. I really like that there has been no love interest. The main character and storyline are strong enough not need one. Well done!

A good installment in the series. Some flaws.
