Great book to fill in gaps

The Spellmonger uses phrases like - "Remind me to tell you about that sometime." or "There is a story to be told there". This book has several of those 'untold stories' from the main arc. Give it a shot, its great!

Another exceptional set of Spellmonger stories

Once again, Terry Mancour provides a wonderful romp through the Spellmonger's world. In this anthology, Terry Mancour explores various aspects of different characters and the actions that occur in the background of the overall story.

Enjoy this anthology. If you love the world building Terry Mancour does, you will find this anthology a wonderful tool to better understand the chanters and situations that drive the plots forward.

Thus, I suspect you will find this book as enjoyable as I find it.

Great Short Stories

Mancour’s short stories doesn’t satiates the hunger for the Spellmonger but increases the rapacious need for more stories that John Lee so expertly narrates!

Each carature is well developed and the world they live in is so vived and wonderful. You can't help but to be caught up in it, and the lives of these wonderful colorful caratures and creatures. It a fun book and seares to read or leasen to. Jin Lee does a wonderful job of telling the story in a way that bringing it all to life.

Loved the Short Story Additions!

The more I listen to the series the more enthralled I am. John Lee is fantastic, I forget constantly that he's the voices for everyone cuz he's so good. On my relisten of the series, I added this after journeymage for the first time so that I was past where they all fit in and it does a great job of filling in a bunch those assumptions you wish you knew more about, and some you didn't know you wanted to know lol. Oh yeah and I have to admit the story of the Ugliest Maiden had me dying laughing. The spellmonger series is simply.. something magical.

Fills in a lot of wholes

Several of the the short stories filled in for several of previous stories. I do wish they would have covered the adventure in the land of scares to get Smokey the Bear.

you know why you're here

Either you've stumbled on this book and don't know the Series, or you've listened to every book in the series and just need a bump to get you to the Arcanist release.

If the former, listen to the core series first, the stories here may spoil things but definitely add context in hindsight.
If the latter, just give them your credit already, why are you even reading this.

Great book of shorter stories.

I hesitated at first because i prefer longer stories, but they all tie closely to the main Spellmonger story line.

Not a wasted credit

I clicked on the book thinking it was the next book in the series. When I realized what I had done, I almost turned it back in. I’m glad I didn’t. It is short stories, but well worth the credit.
