a little more battle scenes than I thought necessary to drive the scenario home but very good and on track.

The world building that is in this series and character development is by far my favorite this is a must listen/read

kept me on my toes

it statrted off slow with the introduction of new characters but once it got started i couldn't stop listening to the book.

I liked it.

I just wanted to rate it and not have to write a review. It was good, but why is everyone obsessed with immortality?

Great pacing, nice surprises.

One thing I really loved was that the pace varied, creating different moods. It’s hard to explain but it was a great journey. There were a few nice surprises also. I have listened to months of this particular genre. I enjoy it, but some can be a little bit predictable in the same ways. I did not find much of that here. I’m starting the next in a few!
