Publisher's summary

It's instinct that drives Finn Malone to rescue a bunch of hard-battling honey badgers. The Siberian tiger-shifter just can't bear to see his fellow shifters harmed. But no way can Finn have a houseful of honey badgers when he also has two brothers with no patience. Things just go from bad to worse when the badgers rudely ejected from his home turn out to be the only ones who can help him solve a family tragedy. He's just not sure he can even get back into the badgers' good graces. Since badgers lack graces of any kind....

Mads knows her teammates aren't about to forgive the cats that were so rude to them, but moody Finn isn't so bad. And he's cute! The badger part of her understands Finn's burning need to avenge his father's death - after all, vengeance is her favorite pastime. So Mads sets about helping Finn settle his family's score, which has its perks, since she gets to avoid her own family drama. Besides, fighting side by side with Finn is her kind of fun - especially when she can get in a hot and heavy snuggle with her very own growling, eye-rolling, and utterly irresistible kitty-cat....

Contains mature themes.

This is one of my favorite series

Guaranteed belly laughs in every book. Always a good story with strong characters. The crazy badgers are my favorite characters.

Always entertaining!

Another home run! I love the cranky sparky badgers! So worth the credit! I always pre-order Shelly Laurenston books and not once have I been disappointed.

Love

I love all the books that she has written in this world and this was no exception. This was probably my third or fourth time listening to the entire series and there’s another book coming out very soon I’ve already pre-ordered for Kendall and hoping it hits audible fast.

Hilarity at its best!

Hilarious as usual!!! There was no other way to start this post. Shelly Laurenston’s sense of humor and the way her characters are portrayed captivates me every time. Writing from multiple points of view and writing in third person seem to go hand in hand and she is an expert at both.

When I started this book, I didn’t read the synopsis I just dove right in, so I wasn’t expecting Mads’ book and her love interest was another surprise that turned out to be adorable in the end. I have read or listened to every book by this author under both this penname and G.A. Aiken and they just seem to get better with each release.

Mads is now my favorite character out of this series. Her personality seemed so mellow with all the chaos surrounding her that it made me admire her ability to find peace in a storm. Finn was a cat. Big cats in general are one of my favorite animals so Finn’s personality and the descriptions were extra added comedic relief, throwing in two more brothers and a lot of honey badgers and this book was epic!!!

I have a feeling about the next love connection but with every Shelly Laurenston’s book she throws a doozie my way that always works out in the end and I can’t wait!

I loved this book.

This book was so good. I loved getting to learn more about Max's basketball teammates and the Black Malone pride. I was also happy to see the McKilligan sisters again and how involved they were in the story. We got to learn more about Natalie and see all the sisters get to know each other better. My only complaint was when the book ended. I can't wait for the next story which I think will be Tock and Shays story. I also think Nell and Keen my hook up in the future as well.

Love the hilarity but!

As usual Shelley lawrenston took me on a ride that was so hilarious that I could not stop laughing her story was filled with the kind of ups and downs of any space mountain ride. But much like the last 2 books I really couldn't tell who the heck were the main characters, there were so many people in this book and so many point of views I felt like main leads were just background noise at times. This new arc?of Badger stories has been just as wonderful as past series but it really isn't fair to say that each book presents a new couple but more along the line of lets followup on how everyone from days gone by are doing while still having a darn good time. After saying all that I would like to make it clear that if possible if the next boom in the series was up for preorder I would have already clicked the button. because faults and all This author ability to bring humor to me time and time again has not changed in the least.

Meh, but still good

The story was entertaining and fun, but the narrator performed differently. It’s the same narrator but she used a different inflection this time around - making it sound as though she was unsure. Compared to the way she performed the other books in the 2 series, her tone was superficial throughout most of this one. She even seemed to voice some of the old characters in this same, superficial, unsure tone.
The new characters were very interesting and I hope the author continues their stories.
