In the dead of night, Kate receives a phone call. Police have recovered her sister Anya's clothes and personal belongings at the poolside of a remote hideaway in Mexico – a place she had no idea Anya would be. Anya was last seen getting into a vehicle with a local diving instructor but now he's missing too. Their relationship has been complicated ever since a devastating tragedy blew their family apart, but Kate cannot believe Anya would willingly travel somewhere so isolated with a man she barely knows ... would she? In a race against time, Kate must fight to find her little sister before it's too late.©2012 Lucy Dawson (P)2019 Bolinda Publishing Family Life Genre Fiction Psychological Suspense Thriller & Suspense

'A surprising, compelling book that leaves you shivering – but in a good way.' (Fabulous Magazine)

This was not my favorite book by this author, but I still enjoyed it. This one was not so much a mystery, but a suspense. There wasn't a big twist like I expected from a Lucy Dawson story. But something about her writing style always keeps me engaged. She develops her characters so well that they seem real. The narrator did an excellent job of reading this story. 5 stars for the narration.

Not my favorite Lucy Dawson, but still very good

I did get to the end but it was quite a dreary book and although not too many characters I found it a bit convaluted ... regardless, I did finish it

Just Ok

This was not my favorite of Dawson’s. Story just wasn’t a mystery . It was a drama with in depth introspection into the thoughts of the two major characters. But not a mystery or a thriller. Just kind of straightforward story with lots of memories and emotions. I read the whole book but I could definitely put it down.

Very good narrator-story not a mystery or thriller

not her typical psychological thriller type book but I still really liked it and I'm glad I listened.

I have been on a Lucy Dawson book binge. I have loved everything until this book.

It had potential but there was no twist, no suspense, no captivating ending.

It just ended. It was bizarre.

Disappointing
