Too many secrets, too many foes....

Richard Royal has escaped death, but it came at a price: a favor to one of the masters of his dystopian theocracy. Three years later, the favor has come due, and he must return to Generica Online.

Once more, he must become a dragon. But even with such power at his command, his troubles are Legion. Surrounded by foes and questionable allies, and stuck defending a cold and lonely site of incredible occult significance, there may be no way out. Can he figure out what is really going on and escape the trap before his sacrifice unleashes blasphemous horrors?

Solid. Fun little romp. Initially off putting w new narrator but you'll adjust...
Other MC gets more play. MC, more annoying for a bit but levels back up. Stuck a decent ending.

I really enjoyed this book. being someone who travels alot, I felt I was really drawn into the story. it wasn't overly complicated to follow. I look forward to the next one.

great story that continues where book 1 left off, the great about this series, is the continues progress on the book, not a lot of empty talk, the flow is great! only minor thing is the change of narrator, nick has done a lot of great books and is an icon of a voice and when listening to a book he does, alot of times charaters from other books he has done, pops into your head but he is always amazing, minor bummer when they change narrator in a series because that's not how you now assume this charater sounds, but the new narrator does a great job. no chip on his shoulder and happy to see he alao does the next one one, wish they had choosen him from book 1 or stuck with nick. but great book and series!

good listen.

no woke nonsense. no continuous stream of thought. simple but dynamic characters. good progression.

I love world building, and Andrew Seiple does a superb job of it. The systems and rules (and cheats and loopholes) of Generica are inspiringly well crafted, and he never missed an opportunity for some good wordplay and strange references (such as the word for a group of wendigos). I can't wait for more.

Narration was great. Wouldn't change a thing, and that's saying something, coming from me.

Fantastic and clever
