"unfine AF"

I absolutely loved the delivery of this book. it really helped to solidify that it is ok to be "unfine AF" and that there are ways around it and ways to get out of it. highly recommend to anyone interested in the science behind your anxiety and honestly, just ways to unf*ck your anxiety! great book.

Had to Read

So most chapters really gave valuable information but others not so much. For those clueless this is great. For those who’ve read up on anxiety some parts will be review.

Validating, enlightening, funny

I enjoyed this reading! I laughed and felt seen. Validation along with some nerdy info was helpful and insightful.

Some very basic info but good nonetheless

I like the author and her the open style of communication she uses. She’s got a few decent books. This one wasn’t anything new or very original, but it was good info regardless.

the verbiage and totally down to earth attitude she gad towards everything

the best book ever. I loved the narrator. I'm going to be seeking out this narrator specifically

as always, another great book by faith g harper

I love her books, it's entertaining to hear as well as so knowledgeable. you can connect to her immediately and feel like you're safe and understood. thank you faith! keep it up.

Too many f*cks

I don't really like hearing the words f*CK and sh*t every two seconds when I'm trying to peacefully listen to a book. Unnecessary.

Also uses too many modern words and rhetoric that I don't agree with, such as "cis" and "priveleged white male." Reverse racism and too much pandering to people's "differences." Shouldn't we focus on what's the same rather than what's different? Saying "white male" and "black" is what creates difference and separation between people.

Overall I'm not sure this book actually helps much with anxiety. The only thing I figured out that helps with anxiety is awareness (to "danger"), so develop that and save your time.

Engaging and funny

I loved the narration by Erin Bennett. She really brought out Dr. Harper’s message and real approach to anxiety. Even through some of the more sciency shtuff it was engaging and insightful. Quick listen. I got through it in a day and kept laughing at how real and relatable it was.

Useful

There were some comments about racism etc. But it barely concentrated on them. So don't turn down this book over those comments!
