I cannot wait for more of this exciting, loving and the horrors of fated love! Excellent writing and beautiful emanation of the writer exalted by the rich and lovely narrator's voice. Hope you take the time to listen to both of the books and novella's included. You won't be disappointed ❤️

An amazing story!

I love this book so much. It was nice being brought to life by Mela Lee.

excellent narration

The book itself was fantastic but for an Audiobook to take to giving each character their voice is what sold me. Now I am working my way through the rest of the series and it has only gotten better.

fantasy is beautiful again!

I've been struggling to find any fantasies that are intriguing as well as beautifully written. This whole series has been that, and more, for me. Delightful, exciting, and fantastic romance.
This has quickly become my favorite series!

Good Read

Good story, I had a problem with one chapter later on with the main character just being so broody.

MC full of self loathing

I loved the first book in this series and was excited to see where it would go. Instead book two is so full of self loathing/hatred from the MC. We get it. she hates herself- get to the plot line or story growth . It gets old quickly. The last fourth starts to get better with some character upswings but man I wish it was sooner. The person reading the book does wonderful voicing for the characters but I do find the fake accent harder to understand/ and listen to. Overall it was only okay and I hope book 3 is better.

main character is just a whiney brat, couldn't get past the first few chapters. For once I'd like a fantasy that didn't start their characters as minors

it was good but I was disappointed.

i had high hopes for book two in this series. I don't normally leave reviews but I was so disappointed for the first 3/4th of this book.
the punt of times the author told me "those emerald eyes..." ma'am...I got it after the first hundred times.
also the mc was absolutely the most whiney mc ever. it took 25 chapters for me to actually like her and find her growth rewarding.
Overall I enjoyed the story. I just was super annoyed with the amount of times the word emerald came up and how utterly annoying and unlikable the mc was.
