Ahnna is relatable AF
I love this entire series so so sooo much. Although this one had less war and battle scenes than some of the previous duets, I can already tell there’s something BIG coming in the final book.
Ahnna is heartbreakingly relatable. She seems to be like a lot of us who want to “save the world” but their words and actions don’t necessarily portray their true, good hearted intentions and then they end up in a sticky situation. Hearing Ahnna’s perspective on her parents and grandmother was also amazing to hear because it’s a very different tone than when we hear/heard Aren speak of them. Which just makes it all the more relatable!
James is a sweet boy that deserves to be protected at all costs. I’m so excited for the second half of their story.

Definitely twisted
Book 5, The Twisted Throne by Danielle L. Jensen started slow and picked pace nearly half way through and got quite exciting by the end of the book. It is the story of Ahanna Kertell and her adventures and how she gets tangled up in something that she doesn’t do and hopefully next book would be the better plot and also end of the series.
Usually I don’t like to read books where I have to wait for next book to finish story and this series has been an exception. I am actually impressed with Danielle to be able to write brainstorming complex puzzling stories to the previously written plots in the same series.
There are some parts of the story not fully clear and only the next book can establish the plot fully, Wasn’t sure if CF will be revealed at the end of the book and happy it was. The ending did have very interesting development and I am curious how that will evolve and how Aren will come to help Ahanna. Overall, an interesting plot that is well narrated by Max Roll and Summer Roberts.

LOVED THIS ENTIRE SERIES
Eagerly awaiting the final book and really enjoyed the stories so far - I think my favorite has been Laura and Aren, but each one plays so seamlessly into the next I am captivated! Worth every minute reading/listening to the whole series!
