Somebody once said we don’t decide who we love. The world decides for us. But I disagree.
I believe love is a decision.
Who we love, how we love.
It’s in our control—in our hands.
I grew up having no clue about the true meaning of love. Money. Cars. Houses. Status. Fame. That’s what love means to the people around me.
It wasn’t until the woman I picked up in a bar came back into my life and showed me love can be so much more.
So, what’s the problem?
The woman I’m falling in love with believes in fairytales. She compares everything to a storybook and wants the happily-ever-after.
So while she’s stuck on recreating stories that have already been told, page by page, I’m showing her it’s time we write our own book.
Nobody ever said the journey of falling in love would be easy, just that it would be worth it.

A must listen!
I love the secret pregnancy trope and combined with sports romance just never fails to hit the spot!
Could not stop reading once I started, was the perfect contemporary sports romance and I ended up loving Nick's character so much more than I anticipated!
The narrator consistently nailed the character's emotions and brought them to life in each scene.

Just as awesome the 2nd time...
This is the 2nd time enjoying this story. This time I listened to it on Audible. Tim Paige does a great job as narrator; however, with just one narrator, it's harder to remember which character is "talking". It certainly didn't make me not LOVE the story. I still love Tim Paige's narration.
The ending of this story is awesome, too!

Story line
I love the story line. It is great and a cute story. The spice is probably a 3 out of 5 but I don’t like that the narrator can’t do a great woman voice and it’s kinda creepy sounding at points. There are also a lot of time jumps I wasn’t a big fan of.
