Great story!!

i really enjoyed listening to this book about Morena and Sebastian - the hippie and the ex-mobster! The narrators, Mia Madison and Nelson Hobbs, did an amazing job bringing this story to life for me.

Morena met Sebastian at a club night and agreed to go see an amazing sunrise with him. She just didn't know that they'd have to take his private jet to a private island to see it. Lol they had one hot night together and then a week later he's back but not necessarily for her.

She discovers that he's trying to clean up his fathers dirty business dealings and one of them was with her grandmother's shares in an oil company. Of course, she didn't know that her sick grandmother had those shares. After she passes away, she indicates in her will that Mo and Bastian get married as part of her gaining access to her Inheritance.

They are so different and agree to only get married for appearances ... but intentions fall apart as they grow closer.

This was a great story!! Really loved the characters.

It was fine

It was a basic story with characters that kind of connected. Really didn't care for the female narrators Italian pronunciation. It was too harsh for moments that were supposed to be passionate.

The story was ok. The narrators were ok. Probably the last time I read her books. Both books I read were just ok. Nothing wow or spectacular.

Angsty Arrangement

I enjoyed my first Shain Rose book. It was intense, made me laugh, and was steamy. However, what started with a fiery one-night stand, quickly turned into a slow burn. Bastian is a Mafia boss- demanding, dominating, and protective. On the other hand, Morina is a free spirit, has difficulty staying focused, and prefers to go where the wind blows. However, she is passionate about her smoothy business and sheltered animal. Bastian and Morina's worlds collide when Morina's grandmother dies and, through her will, forces Bastian and Morina into an arranged marriage to protect Marina.

There's a lot of push and pull between our MCs as they deny and fight their feelings for each other. And I loved how they teased each other, got jealous, and eventually, they would talk it out when they argued.

Nelson Hobbs and Michelle Sparks did a great job narrating and elevating the story.
