Great Book

Great book! Definitely recommend if you have fre me time to listen too. Definitely listening to it again for sure!

Age gap with an older heroine, younger hero and a curvy single mom!

Through His Eyes was my first read from Nikki Ash but definitely won’t be my last! This has age gap (she’s 12 years older than him) and a curvy, single mom!

The story starts with Quinn in an emotionally abusive, loveless marriage. Her husband treats her horribly and talks down on her because of her curvy body. Thankfully he isn’t around long in the story and Quinn finds herself a pregnant widow! We then cut to 5-6 years later in the story and Quinn is a single mom to her daughter, who gets help from her tight-knit family and friend group. One day Quinn meets Lachlan at her brother’s tattoo shop and Lachlan is immediately, and obviously, into her. Quinn doesn’t take him seriously at first since she’s older than him and can’t believe he’d be into her. But when she sees how determined he is to take her out and how good he is with her daughter too, she gives in.

This was very fast-paced and things do move a little too quickly at times. But I liked seeing Quinn get her HEA. She definitely struggles with her body image and self doubts a lot. But Lachlan is determined to prove to her she’s perfect. I liked seeing how sweet he is with her daughter right away! This does have age gap with an older heroine (she’s 39, he’s 27)!

We all need a man like Lachlan. This was a sweet story with just enough drama and angst for a really good plot. The love and spice was done so well too.

Loved the raw emotions in story

This really deals with emotional abuse and the difficulty of overcoming it. The story is very well done, and the narration was perfect. I loved every moment, sad and uplifting.

Stellar cast brings soulful characters to life!

Through His Eyes by Nikki Ash read by Tim Paige and Kelsey Navarro... Older single mother (40), younger man (27). This one gave me ALL the damn feels... I LOVE that it’s a 40yr old woman and that she gets treated like a sexy desirable woman like she deserves. OH! And Tim does a bit of an Irish accent in this one! 😉 It’s so beautifully, realistically well written that I had to push through it. I see so much of myself in Quinn. And Tim as Lachlan, poured the Unrelenting strength and caring and support into the character that Nikki wrote there. So Tim freakin made me cry more than once... but at least now I know what a HEA could’ve looked like for me...
