Josh Tanner and Senyak Marztanak take a litrpg/sci-fi/fantasy thrill ride in this first installment of a multibook series.

Josh was trying to straighten out his life and get back to his four-year-old daughter, Sophie, when Sen, a young Immortal (with his own family and relationship issues), shanghaied him to stop a genocidal-soul harvester. All because Josh has a briefcase handy!

Things accelerate from there, and through a series of unexpected circumstances, they wind up in a parallel universe chock full of mythology, ageless powers, saviors, and treacherous villains. To reunite Josh with Sophie and regain Sen's immortality, they must rise together through the levels of mortal cultivation.
