The plot armor is strong with this one. Reach new level. Run into someone stronger. Get saved by circumstance or random individual. Rinse, Repeat.

Great take on cultivation!

This is a nice fresh take on a healer trying to make it in a warriors world. With fun combat and some interesting side characters. I will definitely be get the next one

Good premise, worst execution

There’s been a few novels focused on the main character being a martial healer. Out of all the ones I’ve read, this one executes the trope the worst.

You’d think the self proclaimed Best Surgeon on Earth who is in his 50s would have some degree of intelligence, and wisdom. But at every turn this guy constantly makes short sighted decisions that don’t take into account what will happen as a result.

He also constantly makes decisions that would be considered deeply immoral in Earth with zero consideration.

His Surgery, Age, and Isekai background doesn’t make a large impact. Overall, very disappointing.

Great start to a series!

Well written, kept me listing to this great book! Can't wait for the next book!

Decent Story, Awful Narration

The story was decent. Not brilliant, but a good average entry. The author has potential and will hopefully improve in time.
The narrator was terrible. He sounded like an AI. No inflections, no passion, absolutely nothing to make the characters interesting. Each word was well pronounced dictation, nothing more.
I had to check to make sure I wasn't being scammed. I refuse to support AI slop. But Faelan Cabral is a real human-being. As with the author, I hope he improves considerably because listening to this was painful.
