Great series!

The author is very perceptive of human nature, the flow is smooth, not forced, the plot twisty bit believable. What makes it better is there is always great empathy for the suffering.

Such a great series.

No need to start from book one. But you ought to seeing as they’re so good! Narrator is PHENOMENAL.

Twists and turns and secrets

One of the best murder thriller mystery series ever !!! The Author is so wildly talented , the narrator voice is mesmerizing , the plot is gripping and full of turns. Could not stop listening. More Dan Riley stories please!!

Love Dan Riley

I absolutely love this series! I would recommend these books to everyone. And the reading of this series is great. He pulls you in from the very first line.

tragic, tragic story

I honestly have no other words. Such a sad story; I don’t know how anyone in real life could stand so much pain. I honestly teared up at the end, it was too much.

Satisfying ending. Intriguing enough plot, although some parts were predictable. [QUICK SPOILER] I don’t love the fact that there was an inappropriate age-gap sexual situation where we were to feel sorry for the adult. But all around solid storytelling.

The entire series really holds up

Most of the Dan Riley books are somewhat easy when it comes to figuring out the “who done it”. However, the books are so well written and the character so fully explored that they are enjoyable from first sentence to last.

This is a well-crafted story, with an excellent narrator. The lead character is so compelling, and the story and characters are complex and interesting.

I liked all of it. Very well done. I like that the author has surprises and that there’s always several ways the story could go, so it easily keeps your interest. I love these Detective Dan Riley books. His life is a great continuing thread you throughout this series. Hope the series lasts a very long time!
