Talk about the mother-in-law from HELL!!!

This is story of a woman who initially questioned marrying him. She did it anyway and soon discovered her questioning the marriage was justified. Full of hatred and meanness.
The narration for this book was done by virtual voice. I AM NOT A FAN! Monotone, sentences running together, mispronounced words. Ugh!

Interesting and unexpected plot

I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was well written, and I was surprised by the plot. The AI narration wasn’t bad, but a live narrator would have been much better. I also felt like the pace of the story was good until the end where it dragged on. Overall good book though.

This talented author deserved better

The story was captivating and well written. Exciting. But the virtual voice narration is awful. Sometimes no inflection to the voice, other times terribly inappropriate inflection, people in a life or death battle speaking to each other like they’re offering a cup of tea. The word “us” read as U.S. A call to 911 answered with “nine hundred eleven, how may I direct your call?”
The author deserved for her work to be handled with more dignity.

AI voice sucks!

I almost gave up on this book so many times but I was busy. The AI voice is so horrible that I almost hated the story. After listening, I understand that the story is pretty good. Definitely not like anything. I’ve read in a while.

Great content

LOVED the book writing but HATED the auto narration. It doesn’t read it as intended to be read & the robotic nature takes away from the great storyline.

Stopped listening due to narration

This might be a good story; I don’t know. I had to stop listening because I found the virtual narration too bland and lacking in human emotion. I kept getting distracted by my annoyance with the narration.

The story is good, but….

Listening to an audio book by virtual reader is the absolute worst! I’ll never get another book read this way. It was awful!!!

Horrible writing and narration

Virtual voice is awful and the writing had so many holes in it, it was ridiculous.
