Explains so much

The Ice explains so much going into The Bound and the Broken. If you are doing the series, consider this novella mandatory reading.

Great series

Start at book 1 and read them all. Great series that starts out a little slow but once it got going I’ve been hooked. Can’t wait for book 4.

This series!

This series just keeps getting better. The characters are flushed out well, the story is really good and the narration is definitely some of the best out there. Do yourself a favor and gets this series!!

Plus, this particular story fills in a very important puzzle piece to the main storyline.

I was immediately pulled back into this world and just want to reread the series after finishing it. I could drown in the lore.

Ryan Cahill’s The Ice is an extraordinary fantasy novel that immerses readers in a breathtaking, wintry world full of intrigue, magic, and unforgettable characters. It pulls you in from the very first page. Cahill masterfully weaves together intricate world-building, an engaging plot. Although just a short book in the series it is a important backstory and a must read.

Though this installment was short for a full credit, you get the length of 2 fantasy books in 1 with book 3 so this still gets 5 stars for me.
