Captivating

Each characters story is as captivating as the others. The way they come together is seamless and integral. I can’t wait to listen to the next one when it becomes available.

I love epic story

I love how it continues from another audio book by the same author and I really like this narrator. I love introduction it pulled me in.

As excellent as David Estes's other books.

It takes place in the same world of Fatemarked and Kingfall, after the events there. There are some mentions of characters from Kingfall but doesn't go into details about them.

David Estes strikes again! Trapping me happily into another of his amazing worlds!

David has a way of making characters feel like new friends. he manages to world build without ever making me board. an excellent book. I cant wait for the next.

Disappointing

Didn’t grab me at all. Very unexpected from this author and my excitement turned to disappointment.

Very slow and all over the place.

I made it 15 hours and had to stop. I still don't know where the story is going or what the plot really is. I absolutely hate not finishing a book but I just couldn't do it. It is write in the style of Game of Thrones, multiple characters and constantly shifting story line. But without the elements that make you want to follow the characters. Maybe it gets better. I'll never know, I just can't endure grinding on.
