Soooo goood!!

This is absolutely the best book in the series and I almost wish it came first. We finally got to see how Memnon and Roxilanas love story began and was so sweet and unexpected. The way Memnon loved her was just soo good. I didn’t want it to be over. I loved this book so much. It reminded me of the first book of the bargainer series which I also loved. Definitely a must read.

Best book of the series so far

This book made me love this series. The character building is exceptional and the storyline all fits. Now I can’t wait to see what the fourth book brings. I kind of wished I read this one first! The narrators were amazing too.

Great story, but slow start!

This was a good story and understanding the back story of Memon and Roxilana. In the beginning, the pace of the story was slow and I started to dose off, but it was later in the story, the pace and action picked up.

My only complaint about this story is that I should have read this first before reading the other two books. It was still a good book, nonetheless and the story is now complete.

Laura Thalassa is an amazing writer and storyteller. I love how she captures her reader's attention and never lets it go until the very end. Overall, I gave this story 4 stars. Even with it slow start, I'll still recommend this series to everyone.

Loved this book!!!

I really loved to listen to this prequel, to see how they met and the gradual process from friends to lovers to soul mates. This is true love at its core. I’m sad that they had to say goodbye for 100 years, but the story ends where the first book started. I can’t wait for the next book to see what happens next. The narrators were great or mainly the female. The male only had one chapter.

Omgggggg I am OBSESSED with this series!

I absolutely LOVE the angst, heartache and plot progression of this book! ong the spice and the chemistry of these characters is absolutely perfect! p.s. I hate the villian as we should. oh only one thing that threw me off a little- the narrator, she's different than the last two books and pronounces est amage, and Eislyn different which is rough, but its ok. I did like the OG narrators performances better too with the mixed character scenes and when there's drama within them, but it is still way better to listen to it than read it since I can clean and drive and whatnot. I will be pre-ordering the crap out of the next book, and tbh anything from this author. She's my favorite!

Very satisfying

I would’ve loved a book three instead of a prequel but, after finishing this book I am glad we got a prequel. I like Memnon and Roxi more now than before so it was a great book.

The Curse That Binds was amazing! I fell even more in love with the characters. The backstory of how they came to be made the series so much richer. I didn’t think that it could get better than the first book. But I have to say that this is my favorite book of the series. The narration was fantastic. I only wish it was longer! Can’t wait for the next one.

Unnecessary

The story felt repetitive. There were additional details but the jest of the story was told in the first two books.
