Great story, but slow start!

This was a good story and understanding the back story of Memon and Roxilana. In the beginning, the pace of the story was slow and I started to dose off, but it was later in the story, the pace and action picked up.

My only complaint about this story is that I should have read this first before reading the other two books. It was still a good book, nonetheless and the story is now complete.

Laura Thalassa is an amazing writer and storyteller. I love how she captures her reader's attention and never lets it go until the very end. Overall, I gave this story 4 stars. Even with it slow start, I'll still recommend this series to everyone.

Loved the story

In my opinion Roxy shouldn’t have sounded so whiney. She’s supposed to be a queen but sounds very timid.

Best book of the series so far

This book made me love this series. The character building is exceptional and the storyline all fits. Now I can’t wait to see what the fourth book brings. I kind of wished I read this one first! The narrators were amazing too.

The Curse That Binds was amazing! I fell even more in love with the characters. The backstory of how they came to be made the series so much richer. I didn’t think that it could get better than the first book. But I have to say that this is my favorite book of the series. The narration was fantastic. I only wish it was longer! Can’t wait for the next one.
