Her true power lies dormant inside her, only to be discovered when everything she knows is lost.

Terra stands on the brink of an unremarkable and unwanted life. That is until a shockingly beautiful stranger with dark intentions turns the village's match-making ceremony into a night of bloodshed, leaving her family dead and revealing a power within Terra she cannot comprehend—or wield.

When an unlikely band of not-so-human rebels reveals her true nature and the keys to her forgotten past, Terra is thrust into a magical world beyond her wildest imagination.

The Fae befriend her.

The Witch teaches her.

The Dragon Shifter sets her aflame.

Embarking on a journey of vengeance, burning romance, and inevitable betrayal, Terra ultimately uncovers a web of lies that binds her to a fate far greater than the revenge she seeks.

Terragnata and the Heir of the Earth tells a tale of female self-discovery and self-actualization, wrapped in a layer of lust and intrigue to cure even the worst ACOTAR hangover. Positioned as the first in a four-book series, this new adult romantasy beckons listeners into a narrative where the enchantment of Spinning Silver, the mystery of The Serpent and The Wings of Night, and the courage of Fourth Wing collide.

Way better than anticipated! Unique & grabs your attention from the first few seconds. Performance was amazing & I enjoyed listening. Definitely recommend this book & can’t wait for the series to be completed.

I can't wait until book 2 is realsed. The storyline draws you in and keeps you guessing. I love that some characters have so many layers! Just when you think you hate them, they show a glimmer of good.

I couldn't stop listening!

One of the best audibles I have heard so far! I do wish they would leave the male actors for the male voices and female actresses to the felame characters but other than that, it was amazing! Finished it too quick

It was def not what I expected!

Went in blind and with no expectations and holy cats did this book blow me away. Great plot, solid mix of characters, interesting world building politics - never quite knowing who is friend or enemy. Can’t wait to continue on in the series!

Standing ovation for the audio narrator 👏👏👏 one of the best I’ve listened to so far!

No notes - 5/5

Just wrapped up this book and honestly, I’m a bit torn. The story had some cool ideas and moments that definitely caught my attention, but it also felt like a lot was happening all at once. I kept waiting for things to click or get explained, but I was mostly left with more questions than answers.

That said, I didn’t hate it — there’s definitely something there, and I’m kinda curious where it might go next. If there’s a second book, I might give it a shot… but I’m not totally sold yet.

Intriguing premise, but leaves you wanting more

I’m writing this review because I’m both intrigued and disappointed. I’m only taking the time because I believe the author has potential—assuming this wasn’t fully written by AI. My hope is that she reads this and takes it as constructive feedback, because there’s real room to grow.

First, the use of proper nouns felt silly and distracting. Names like “Wahaka” seemed chosen just because they could be, not because they added depth or meaning. That’s just scratching the surface. The dialogue between characters felt immature and unnatural, almost like bad acting. It read as though the characters were “performing” for an audience rather than having authentic conversations. This wasn’t a narration issue—it was a dialogue issue.

I pushed through about 80% of the book before I simply couldn’t continue. The story jumped from scene to scene without smooth transitions, leaving me disoriented. The characters themselves had no distinguishable personalities; even after hours of listening, I couldn’t tell you who they really were. Emotional depth was also missing. The most common expression was “tears ran down her face”—but it was often thrown in at random moments, without substance or context, making it feel hollow.

And to be completely transparent for potential readers: the author condones gay pedophilia in the story. That alone should be a warning flag for anyone considering this book.

All that said, I do see potential. The core idea could have been something great, and the author clearly has imagination. But it was published too soon. With more focus on character development, understanding real human emotions, and building smoother narrative flow, she could produce something much stronger in the future.

Dear Author

The execution of the story really bothered me. Spoiler alert: every relationship happened too quickly. There was no build towards anything, and a lot of gratuitous spice like weird sex dreams and masturbation. The FMC wanders around falling in love, randomly having sex, and feeling deep feelings and attachments towards characters she only knew for a few days or weeks. And the guy who murdered her family and SA her sort of comes back into the story and becomes her ally. ( Which was so unbelievable and really bothered me.) And then there are random gruesome scenes of sexual violence at the end of a novel that really read like YA genre. It was all over the place. The author needs some strong mentorship and a much better editor.

Meh

Really dry, very predictable plot. I couldn’t get past two hours in and I really tried to like it. Good for teenagers maybe. Not meant for adults

Boring
